Use Up Your Stash Challenge 2011 - Final Session (3)

My stash is down significantly despite the fact that I purchased a fair amount (my hair use a lot of conditioners). I want to be done with most of my "unnatural" conditioners, but that probably won't happen until the end of January.

I've gotten rid of just a couple of products but I feel very optimistic for next year. This challenge has made me more constitent in my product using/shampoo regimen significantly. I'm not a 100% but I've come a long way indeed. I look forward to improving.

Hello Ladies :)

I had a lot session 1
I had it under control in session 2
and I was gifted a lot in session 3

So next year I will be doing it all again and making sure I use what I have

Thanks faithVA. I have pretty much used up all my old stash and if you remember what I posted earlier - that I tried desperately to use up the 32oz of boundless tressesbut I just couldn't. I couldn't stand the smell of it.

Everything I have left are staples pretty much, except for about one more use of some ION Repair Solutions Reconstructor Treatment and 2 full bottles of Aphogee Keratin Green Tea Restructurizer. These are not staples and will not be replenished. I will try to use them up in the early months of 2012.

I may or may not re-order Dudley's DRC 28 because I am thinking about getting KeraCare Super Reconstructor in it's place. I have not yet decided but I truly want to stick with a maximum of 4 hair product brands. I already use KeraCare, MoroccanOil, and Aubrey Organics hair products. Other products I use are ayurveda oils and powders and I want to keep them to a bare minimum as well.

Red - Products I used up
Green - Staples
The rest I'm undecided if I want to buy it again or not. I should not have counted oils and butters because they are all automatic staples. So is henna and other herbs.

I actually used up more and threw stuff out. Should I still update my list or does it even matter anymore?

NikkiQ it is easier for me to list what I used up or how many products I sold or gave away then to type out a list. First I must locate all offenders LOL then list them. :giggle:

I just want to minimize my stash big time for 2012. I am super excited :)
Simple styling for 2012, simple hair care for 2012.

Thats up to you whether you want to update your list. This thread will live forever, so you can update it so it truly reflects. But in the end you know what you achieved. :yep:

Nothing to report as of late! I'm on January break for school, and I left almost all of my stash, save my ORS replenishing conditioner, Shea Moisture moisturizer, a clarifyig conditioner, SheaMoisture keratin mist, some safflower oil, and my VO5/ Kenra conditioner mix. So, I'll probably use up the VO5 mix by mid-January. Other than that, I'm good.

Can't WAIT to step up my hair game with my newer stash!
