I'm noticing if its something that I love it goes too quick, i.e. TW conditioner, sunflower oil, mud wash. But if I don't like it or its just so so, then it lasts FOREVER.

I really need to use that as my litmus test when I am reconsidering repurchasing.

Yup they do. I don't even use it that much =/ In fact, I actually won the entire Kinky Curly set a few months ago, hence why I have it.

Gonna add just a few more staples to my list. The really sad thing is i was going through some of my stash and i had like 2, 3-4 of the same exact products. One bottle is half empty, the other bottle is more than half empty and the other two bottles are new. The good thing is they are mostly staples. I found some products that i also have to throw out. Like my Suave clarifying shampoo is yellow instead of clear (both), and my ORS Replenishing Conditioner consistency has changed along with the color and smell, lol. What's wrong with me? Atleast i know now that products DO expire!

I just threw away 1/2 bottle of expired AtOne Reconstructor Conditioner. I'm satisfied with my final list of products to use up. I can already tell that most of them will not be restocked (not considered staples).

I just took some cornrows out on Monday and this hair is in for a rude awakening.....Imma start cowash every 3 days. So tomorrow is CW day and I will be using Aussie Moist.

I would say include in your list only the things that you really don't want to have by the end of the year. Don't include things that you are never going to use up. For me AVG is a staple and its not something I am ever going to use up or be without. And I always want to have 2 bottles. I have EOs that I don't plan on being with out. So I don't include those in my stash because I have not intention of using them up. And if I use them up I will immediately repurchase.

So include the non-staples, the overstocked staples, etc. on your list.

Conditioning and steaming tomorrow so hopefully I can use up some conditioner. Don't think I will be using up anything else though. I am enjoying the products that I have right now though And the products I do have I am learning when to use them. My butters work well when I am in twists but when I do a twists out I am finding putting on sunflower oil and then a butter blend works well.

I am feeling better about my products now. And my hair is feeling better.

VO5 Clarifying shampoo went bye bye yesterday

Elasta QP moisturizer is getting prettttttty low so that should be gone very soon. Not very happy about that.

I mixed my Zuresh conditioner and AOHSR and I like that much better than using either one separately. I won't buy either again so now I have to find a replacement conditioner. I probably have 1 more use of them and just a little bit of TW conditioner.

We have happily natural day next weekend so maybe I will find another conditioner while there. This challenge has been great in helping me really learn what types of products work for me.

If I don't find a conditioner at happily natural I will check out another AO conditioner like White Camellia or the balanced one. Finding truly natural conditioners is hard.

Nada used up per se, but Organix probably will be donezo by the end of the month, same with Kenra. My VO5 is a great co-washer, so i'll use it as usual.

I'm facing a problem, help ladies?
I'm afraid to use up some products, for fear that i'll lose their affects on my hair/ my hair will suffer for it. But I want a smaller stash, and a more all-inclusive stash.

Thoughts?
