Ok, I went to another Walgreens last night to pick up some Shea Moisture Hold and Shine spray and the price was $11.99. I turned around and went right back out the store. I drove to another Walgreens and their price was still $9.99. The store manager informed me that some Walgreens may have different prices due to the "neighborhood" and sometimess due to stealing. For example, if a store has a lot of theft, they pass on those losses to you the consumer by way of price hikes.
"But the store with the higher prices is in Aventura" (a wealthy Miami surburb) I informed him. "Oh," he replied "That's because those are rich people out there. They can pay more." I just shook my head and kept it moving. So out of the 5 Walgreens that are in my neighborhood, 4 have the Shea Moisture line priced normally along with Target. I'll stick with those.
Also, the Transition and Sample kits are on sale for $14.99. They are normally $19.99.
