Hit: Kuza Scented Shea butter

nice creamy shea butter with nice scents. I also like that it is 100% shea butter and can easily find at a bss. it gives really great shine as well.

@shawnyblazes

Awww...thank you for the offer Ms. Blazes.

If I had used something before and loved it, I would take you up on that generous offer.

But since I have no reference point regarding Sorenzo's products, I'll KIM and drool at all your luscious sounding body products from afar.

Hit: Elucence Moisture Balancing Conditioner as a leave in.

Continued Hit: Shea Moisture Superfruit Masque

Miss: Failing at not buying any products. lol

Hit: Blending up conditioner concoctions in my mini food processor

Continued hit: My TEK brush. I swear this has changed the hair care game for me.

Surprising Hit: Soultanicals Knot Butta. Nice heavy leave in cream with a great scent. Pretty happy with this random purchase.

Pureology 21 Benefits -- great leave-in spray for heat styling. It has 21 benefits to the hair, including leave-in and heat protectant.

Revisited Hit:
SheScentIt CoCo Creme -- great all-around leave-in for air drying or heat styling. I layered it on top of my Pureology 21 Benefits for added hydration.

Babygrowth

You want to know the saddest part...its a u part.

I tried taking out the combs....spreading out the "u part" for more room and nope. I still ended up with a migraine. NEVER AGAIN! I'm most definitely a half wig kind of girl :yep:.

Miss: cantu curling cream

I was experimenting just using this cream as a styler instead of a gel.
- hair was a freeze ball. Had to end up doing a ponytail
-my hair is still wet!!! That was the main reason I wasn't using gel. Thought cream would dry faster...nope!!!

New Hits:

SM Jbco mask
SM JBCO leave in on soaking wet hair
SM Manuka Honey conditioner and mask
OYIN Handmade Hair Dew for daily moisturizing
Max Hydration method once a week using the above products and maneobjectves clay mask recipe.

All are staples now. Im happy

@shawnyblazes

I'm glad you developed a system when dealing with this Vendor. :yep:

Glad you are making it work with no unnecessary headaches.

I'm not sure if I'll ever give this vendor a re-try:look: (although stranger things have happened).

Moving forward, I hope everyone who orders from her will have a smooth shopping experience, to make up for all the customers that had horrible experiences.

ETA: So are you saying.....every Friday there is a Sale????:look:

IDareT'sHair , if yesterday wasnt a holiday I would have received my order. It came today.

Hits (from the past 4 or so weeks)

- Adding isinglass to my Irish Moss deep treatment. Makes my hair softer and smoother along with the moss.

- Redken Real Control Conditioner

- Matrix Colorlast mask

- Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Treat conditioner - this is a keeper. Soft, smooth shiny hair at a great cost.

- Deep Steep Repairing conditioner - did the same as Giovanni Tea Tree but it has proteins in it to help strengthen

- Minimal hair breakage since my last trim in July. I've been having normal shedding and that's basically it... I can count on 1 hand how many broken hairs I have each time I handle/wash my hair.

Continued hits:

- Steaming

- Irish Moss

- Aloe Vera Juice - soothes my scalp

- Never having to throw a product away because if it doesn't work on my hair, it works on my daughters' :)

Misses:

- Trader Joes Nourish Spa Conditioner - didn't moisturize or make my hair as soft as I hoped it would

- Giovanni Smooth As Silk, 50/50 and Ultra Hydrating conditioners - same as TJ

- Millcreek Biotin conditioner - made my hair slightly hard but I'll probably use it as a protein treatment with my relaxer since Hydrolyzed Keratin is so high on the list

That's all I can think of right now... I probably won't be trying any new products/ingredients until next month...

Potential hits: J. Monique Naturals Bentonite and Rhassoul Detox Hair Mask and Dead Sea Mud Hair Wash

I used these together. While rinsing both products out I could feel my hair clumping. Neither of these have any slip in my opinion, which I'm ok with. Not a deal breaker. My hair was very soft afterwards. Almost too soft lol. This morning my hair is still soft. Only thing that's standing out is that hair, specifically my nape and edges, are a little drier than usual. I think that's because a) those areas of my hair tend to be drier b) I didn't do the best job rinsing. These are some thick products.

Next time I won't use these together. They both are meant for detoxing, probably too much in one wash. The clumping and softness are wins. The thickness of the products makes application a smidge more difficult.

CONTINUED HITS (In no particular order):
Darcy Botanicals Deep Conditioning Hair Mask
L.A.C.E. Bramhi Ayurvedic DC'er
Claudie Revitalizer's Iman Hair Butter
Afroveda's Coconut Milk Conditioning Rinse
Mission-Condition's Roobis & Rose Detangling Spritz
Nexxus Emergencee
Extra Dark JBCO
Strong Roots Red Pimento Oil
PALTAS BKC Hair Treatment

Continued Hits:

Xtreme Wetline Gel
Curly Twirls Custard both of these together even in this crazy NJ weather has my hair pretty good. Honestly, Im not even tying it up at night or moisturizing. Im going to do it today though because I'm testing a gel for a vendor.

Hit: Desert Essence Coconut Conditioner. I used this a while ago and I'm trying to use up everything I already have open... this smells really nice and it's moisturizing...not heavy but not extremely light either... it also smoothed my hair strands... I like it.

Hit: Chagrin Valley Henna shampoo bars. I have tried both the chestnut (the darkest brown), and the auburn (reddish brown). This was my first time using shampoo bars. I have found that their bars lather easy, and have an earthy smell. I decided to try these because I wanted to get some coverage of my grays, but I'm not ready to commit yet to a full henna treatment or dying my hair.

So far, I have used these for four weeks. Each time, I shampoo twice and let the lather stay in my hair for ten minutes. With each shampoo, I can see more color is deposited. My grays in the middle of my head are turning a gleaming copper color. I didn't realize how many there were until I was checking to see if this was working. Unfortunately, the grays in the front seem to be the most resistant -but, to be fair, these are the same ones that were unaffected by the black tea rinse that turned the rest of my hair dark. :yep:

I like this shampoo. I think that it is a good way to add a little color to your hair. It's also inexpensive compared to a lot of the shampoos that I use.:lick:

Revisited Hit: Redken All Soft Heavy Cream

This has been my staple DC for the past month. My hair is buttery soft after leaving this in for an hour. Sometimes I use a heat cap for the last 30 minutes, but it performs well without as well. It also provides great slip, and you don't have to use much as it's so thick.
