I know that some people were interested in having hair buddies on this site because it was inadvertenly mentioned in another thread.

Idk if you can tell but in the front there is a small patch of hair that isn't really curly. I think its like 3b waves or something. It's not damaged or anything but that section and my nape aren't as curly as the rest of my hair

I love this site. I'm experiencing thinning and hair fallout from androgenic hormones or whatever. So I'm using things to combat it. My breakage is minimal. I'm texterized or whatever you all call that. I rollerset when I can. I have a thread about it.

Here are my stats:

Current length - 6 inches all around

Ultimate hair goal - MBL (I'm 5ft 10.5 tall) by Dec 2012

Issues - previous 2 major setbacks which led me to cut 4 inches off Oct 2010. Dry ends, 75% shrinkage after wash and I have one of the strangest head of hair I have ever seen. I am in yarn braids for my ps and can only keep them in at the most 6 weeks at a time. I have to take them out then to put a black rinse in my hair bc of creeping greys!

Issues: Patience, consistency with vitamins and care (building a home business that keeps me too busy sometimes to remember vitamins or to moisturize my hair daily, but I am getting better) and trying to find a good protective style. I wear ponytails and buns now but it gives me headaches.

if the ponytails are giving you headaches why don't you wear it curly? and so you don't forget to moisturize put a plastic cap on at night and co washing will help with that. I don't use a comb and I co wash while showing and finger style my hair and let it air dry after I put a leave in moisturizer in then I go to my work which is sewing
