Coils and other natural hairstyles- URGENT

Everyone, I am postponing getting my weave but in the meantime I need to do something to my hair by this weekend. I am considering the following:

* flattwists
* coils
* bantu knots (not sure how they would look on my head)

Has any of you ever had coils? They look cute in photos I have seen but I am not too sure how it would look on me. Has anyone ever had this style or can anyone PLEASE recommend some other natural haircare styles that I can get. Remember, cornrows broke the front edges and I am weary of ever wearing those again!
