Products you like that you don't hear of anyone else using

Elasta QP Soy Oyl conditioner. It does have mineral oil which I try to stay away from but when I'm in a tight I will use it. This stuff makes my hair so soft and silky and completely tangle free. Plus it's super cheap and easy to find. This 32oz tub was only about $8. :yep:

P.S. OP, great thread, by the way!

the pj in me is itching to try this. 32oz for $8!:lick:

The Brocato line. Many of their conditioners are stellar, and priced reasonably. They have a new serum that i will definitely try. I haven't seen any other serum with such good ingredients. I hope it smooths well when i straighten.

Here's a few products I use that are rarely mentioned in LHCF land:

Tresemme Heat Tamer Spray
Hollywood Olive Oil Cholesterol Conditioner
Paul Mitchell Supercharged Moisturizer

I love the coconut shampoo and conditioner & green apple condish! The coconut shampoo smells heavenly and is so gentle on my hair..and the coconut conditioner is very moisturizing. The green apple condish is very moisturizing and I love the smell..sometimes I leave it in when I do wash & go's..and i just like to leave it in because of the smell..

I have been using the coconut conditioner for about 2 months and I love the way it moisturises and makes my hair feel. I have to try the green apple and ginger conditioner too.

John Frieda's Overnight Serum. I used to use this religiously for my ends.

I use this on my daughter's hair. It's definitely good at laying down her super curly hair.

I kind of love this, my mom used this on my head when I was younger, she swears it grew my hair.

I use the Live Clean Exotic Nectar Line. It has argan oil(it also has grape seed and olive oil) in it and my hair loves it. It makes my hair super super soft and moisturized. I've never heard of anyone else using it except my white friend who has straight hair, she recommended it to me.

Sounds wonderful, will def have to try this! :yep:

Recently I've been LOVING Design Essentials and Rolland UNA hair products. Some things I'm currently using by them are:

Rolland UNA Dual Phase Treatment - it's a spray leave in you shake up; makes the hair very soft and easy to detangle (also has some heat protecting properties so I mostly use it before blowdrying)

Rolland UNA Compensating Shampoo for Hair loss - I use this with every wash it stops shedding INSTANTLY and smells like peppermint so it tingles on your scalp

Design Essentials Moisture Retention Shampoo - LOVEE this although it contains sulfates this by far is one of the best shampoos I have ever used it smells like pineapple candy and leaves my hair clean, but also very soft and almost conditioned after rinsing

Design Essentials Herbal Complex 4 - This is a traditional "grease" petrolateum and all but it also has a lot of other good oils and herbs to soothe the scalp I use this occasionally if my scalp feels dry

Other mentions: Alter Ego Lux Shine Spray, Elasta QP Glaze Plus Conditioning Gel (Excellent for ponytails), Elasta QP Glaze Plus Silkening Polisher Spray (I use this as a heat protectant it's similar to the Fantasia one in the pink bottle and comes in both spray and serum form but is much lighter), Lacio Lacio Leave in Conditioner Brazilian Keratin formula

You are so right! This is also the best shampoo I have ever used as well. I buy it by the liter and it lasts well over a year!

I just bought a liter size too this will definitely be a staple idk why I've slept on this and the other DE products for so long!

Philip Kingsley - Elasticizer (purpose made pre-poo treatment)

I used this stuff when i first joined LHCF but i didn't hear about from here, i remember watching QVC and thought i'd give it a try. I loved it so much i bought 2 salon sizes and used them both up. I'm going to re-visit this (when i use up some of the stuff i have already)

This has been on my must try list for a little while. I've heard great things about it!

Biolage Hydrotherapie Cera-Repair: contains ceramides that really heal chemically treated hair.

Paul Mitchell Shampoo One: contains sulphates and is much better than any sulphate free shampoo I've ever used.

Nubian Heritage: find out about it.

Kanechom Shea Butter and Keratin: this was a oldie but a goodie. I always keep a jar around.

Please excuse my iPhone; it's trying to get it together

Phyto PhytoKeratine Reparative Serum....The stuff is amazing for your ends. Since using it, I've notice less splits and tangling. I've also notice the health of my ends sky rocket. They retain moisture better and are so smooth. Its silicone free and contains synthetic ceramides and keratin, so imo its perfection in a bottle. I use it everytime I wash. Its a HG and I already have 1 back-up.

I actually have this in my stash somewhere. I've been thinking of digging out and trying it again.

I also love the Aphogee Green Tea spray, the KeraCare Hydrating and Detangling Shampoo , and Taliah Waajid Clean and Natural Herbal Hair Wash. All three of these are great staples that I do not hear many talk about. The KeraCare is SERIOUSLY moisturizing and the Taliah is the perfect clarifying cleanser without the sulfates.

3) Aphogee Green Tea and keratin reconstructor spray- Lubs this:lick: Stops me from having to do as many protein treatments. It also makes my curls pop like crazy

i'm a fan of this one as well and it smells nice too. Aphogee products do deliver on what they promise to do i love the entire line.

Camille Rose Curl Milk and Camille Rose Almond Jai Twisting Butter. They are both amazingly moisturizing. You would think that the Curl Milk is heavy, but it's not.

Xaragua and Forever in Bloom I use the baby line on my son. You guys have me wanting to try the adult line!

ETA: I realized the picture didn't show up because I did a quick reply instead of a quote.
