lamaria211 I've tried both. Shea What, I really liked. It's a nice conditioner, leaves my hair soft and a little stronger. I didn't need a moisturizing conditioner afterwards, I'd consider it a light protein.

Destination Dehydration, I adored it when it first came out. It was heaven. I was ready to kick all of my other cowashing conditioners to the curb. I had found "the one." It was pearly and silky and smooth and melted into my hair like butter and made my kinks so smooth and shiny and soft and moisturized.

Buuuuut then the formula was changed and my hair just wasn't feeling it anymore. I'm still sad about it. Le sigh.

I love Shescentit Avocado (moisture) and Okra Reconstructor (protein) for my DCs. I've recently been using Darcy's Pumpkin which works really well for detangling on wet hair for me.

I really want to try some Curl Junkie though.

She says she uses a preservative, so it's possible the product will last longer than 6 months if one takes care not to contaminate it. (I asked in another thread). I might put mine in the fridge.

gorgeoushair I had to go digging to find the date but I sent her an email about it in September 2011, so she changed it sometime around then.

The reason was because a few people had said that they wanted more slip, so she added something to it and my hair was like "Hellllllllll no!" Begged and begged for the old formula, but she wouldn't budge.

I like Darcy's Deep Moisturizing Conditioning Masque for DC'ing and DB's Pumpkin for Cowashing.

I have yet to use the Pumpkin as a DC'er, but will try it that way.

Same with Claudie's Moisturizing DC'er. I use that one as a Cowash as well and Camille Rose's Jansyn Moisture and Camille Rose's SOYlicious.
