So i decided that i want to wear my hair straight more often but without all the heat but i don't really know how to rollerset natural hair and i don't know which rollers are best to use. I bought some velcro rollers but from what i am hearing that's a big no no so i am sending those back. So i am on a quest to find the best kind of roller there is to use on my hair especially for the ends because last time i tried a rollerset, they didn't seem to want to lay down.

Any way i need to know what kind of rollers you natural ladies use and i would like to see pics with the results of these rollersets. I would greatly appreciate it LHCF sisters!

Also if you use the magnetic ones, i would like to know if you use the snap on ones or if you use your own roller clips. Thanks!

Your hair is beautiful. Please tell me detail for detail how you did your hair and what products you used. Please Pretty Please :yep:.

I washed and deep conditioned. Before rollersetting I spray my hair with the Aphogee gree tea Keratin reconstructor. I then section my hair into 3 sections. Before rolling each section I spray it with diluted lotta body and water (1:2). Lastly, I dry under a hard bonnet dryer.

Is lottabody good to use for rollersetting? I actually have a big bottle I purchased a lonngggg time ago that I have never once used. It's in one of my cabinets somewhere. Does it leave any sort of flakes or crazy white stuff in hair?

ahhh ... sorry, I totally didn't see that . Do the ponytail holders not leave a mark in the hair?
They leave a little bit of a mark but after I wrap it to do the silk wrap it's fine.L

Lottabody is all I use for my sets, love it. No flakes at all.

I almost gave away my magnetic rollers! I figured I'd never use them again since I natural now. Thank God I kept them!

I do roller sets via the ponytail method (love them). I use magnetic rollers with the snap on clips. It's great at getting my roots straight. Sometimes I flat iron my hair after that, and sometimes I don't (just depending on what look I'm going for).

with lottabody you may need to dilute it with water else it can make you hair stiff. but it is great in adding volume to the hair
