To all the do-it-yourselfers out there (who do your own relaxers and/or most of your own styling, or have a friend do it)
What was the one experience that was the straw that broke the camel's back? The one that made you say "enough is enough" /images/graemlins/mad.gif and fire your hairdresser?
For me, it was my last experience, where my scalp was not properly based and lye relaxer was applied to my scalp resulting in pain and a scabby scalp, and underprocessing since the relaxer had to be rinsed so quickly (it looks like I never had a retouch)
Now I've been doing my research /images/graemlins/bookworm.gif to learn all I can about my own hair. I will be attempting my own retouch on saturday (gw) after two trial runs.
