I'd say it took about 6 months to fully appreciate the added thickness. I used JA black castor oil, not the refined type.

It works rather quickly to grow and thicken eyelashes and eyebrows (I use castor oil to remove eye makeup). I'm just learning to use it properly on my hair so it is interesting to know how long it takes the ladies using it.

Does it necessarily have to be jamaican black castor oil? I use the kind you get in the bottle from the bss. How do you ladies use it to get optimal results?

2 - 3 months sounds about right for the hair and Isis is right about the lashes. It take no time at all for them!
