PJaye do you like spray type leave-ins? if so which would you recommend?

Ive been eying the capacu butter for a while and your review sealed it for me

FelaShrine

I only use liquid leave-ins as refreshers on air dried hair and, unfortunately, I’m on the hunt for a staple to add to my routine. Since my hair didn’t respond well to the long-term use of SSI’s liquid leave-ins, I’m currently testing out Komaza’s Califa, Moku and Vitamin Reign sprays to see if they’re more effective. I wanted to try a few of Anabelle’s liquid leave-ins, but since my last purchase didn’t end on the best of terms, I didn’t want to push it.

I’m glad I could be of some assistance; I hope you enjoy the Cupuacu Butter as much as I do.

@P Jaye the lavender is what is preventing me from ordering it because I detest the smell of lavender.

I just sat here for the last 10 minutes and performed multiple sniff tests on the Rhassoul DC. The only thing I can detect is a sweet, chocolatey, Quik-like aroma. I sincerely believe that you would be able to use this DC without being assaulted by lavender. FWIW, I also repeatedly paused while typing this post to unscrew and sniff the heck out of it.

As I Am coconut co wash -- still in the fence about this one. FENCE

Mizani's Chelating shampoo --- I guess it did it's job but my hair hasn't been "right" since. FENCE

As I Am smoothing gel -- yuck! Too much glycerin. My edges laid smooth fresh out of the shower BUT frizz city later in the day. Could wait to rinse it out! Also tried it on a wash n go. That effort turned into a wash n NO.... Greasy looking fried chicken hair. FAIL.

I did not smell Lavender in the sample (about 2oz) that I have of the Coffee Cocoa Rhassoul.

As others have stated, just the smell of Chocolate. I don't even detect Coffee.

Anyway, if I wanted to reorder, I would simply convo her and ask her if she uses Lavender in her formulation, could she make my Jar/Jars without.

Most of the time, they will.

HUGE HIT: Lee Stafford Rx @cutenss @charmtreese I am kicking myself for keeping this in my stash for so long and never pulling it out! :wallbash: Will definitely be using this weekly.:yep:

I have some sitting in my hair now...going to ulta to pick up more today! I love this stuff!

On the fence:

Shea moisture clarifying mask (used as a prepoo not sure about this one. I don't feel that it had much slip to help with detangling. Already gave one jar away.)

Charm...Girl....

I am so mad at myself.:nono:

It makes a wonderful treatment for overall hair health.:yep:

I cannot beweave I allowed this stuff to just sit there in my Stash when it could have been working it's magic.

It's almost like a Vitamin shot for the Hair or something.:lick:

Right now Ulta has B1 G1 50% off, so you are picking it up at the right time.

I'm glad you kept posting about it and finally made me go back & pull it out.:yep:

Cutenss use to always post about it too, and I kept thinking...hmm...I have that and never use it.

HIT +1000

Tangles and Beyond Shampoo.

I was very hesitant about this shampoo as is was too watery compared to my beloved CON Argan Oil Poo... I took that in the shower with me just in case. But this shampoo surprised me, it has slip like a conditioner but the cleaning suds of a sulfate poo... It all natural tho. I was in the shower ready for this to do something funky to my 4b hair but it smoothed my hair right out...
I do believe this has replaced CON for HG Shampoo for me....
BTW, it does have a strong peppermint scent.

TeeBee, looking good!! Aren't flexis the best! I'm on a flexi kick and loving it. I don't re-rod my curls though. I just let the fall as the week goes on.

That flexi set is gorgeous your color looks great. Would love details!
Blairx0 Thank you Doll!! Details on the set or my color?? I used Jumbo flex rods and only used Carol's Daughter Heat Setting Foam to set. I flat ironed my roots after. My color is a combination of craziness I've done to my hair. First Blonde, Then a Red, then a Burgundy rinse...all of it has faded to what you see now.

Thank you Bae Bae! <3 NaturallyATLPCH
You have to try it!! It did take me 4 or 5 times to get it right though... just a warning

Wash Week™ Queen
HIT
Shi-Naturals Garlic Conditioner - this has been in my fridge since I won the giveaway I didn't know I was entered in back in April. Used it during pre-poo on wash day for 15 mins under the dryer. The shedding I experience I always considered normal for me (it ebbs and flows but never really seemed excessive). Apparently garlic is much needed in my regimen because the amount of hair that came out during detangling was laughable by my standards. My hair was also super soft upon rinse out (almost didn't want to cowash after it). I'm not fond of the shorter shelf life on this product BUT I may seriously consider it for pre-pooing. For my jar, the garlic smell wasn't excessively strong. Planning to use it every wash until it's done to see how it goes.

IDareT'sHair. you actually sent me the last jar I used up :bighug: I remember thinking "yippee". That stuff is different than anything I have ever used :yep: And thanks Charmtrees for the heads up on the sale. I need to go pick up some more. Its great to use after a cowash, no heat needed.

Angelbean, aren't those Aphogee Curlific products ALL DAT :yep: Now those are my HG products :lick:

IDareT'sHair I am going to go and pick up some more this week :) One jar lasts me abut 6 washes. I find that I do not need a lot, because it spreads easily. But I am going to start transferring the jars to a squeeze bottle. That will keep the water out, and keep me from spilling into the tub. My jar with the pump is full of SM PM.
