I was checking sickbay...again.

I notice that two different brands such as Henna Queen and Capilo have whale sperm and silk worm conditioners. They also have them in shampoo, too. Have anyone tried them. What brand and what was your result?

How was the shampoo? I noticed not very many positive responses of dominican shampoo.

Thanks.

This sounds so crazy!!! I a not putting ANYBODYS sperm in my hair....

What if the whale took you out for dinner and drinks first....would you reconsider?:look:

lol, it's not whale sperm. It's sperm whale... actually the fat of the sperm whale (lipids are good for hair). It is also used in other cosmetics such as lipstick, facial masks, candles,

So it isn't gross.

I've used the Capilo Silk Worm, and like many conditoners I've tried, it worked wonderfully a couple of times and then......nothing. *shrugs* The results were a lot like my results with Motions Oil Silk Protein. Very silky and soft...great slip. (When it worked :ohwell: )

I'd say animal fat in cosmetics is pretty gross.

depend on where he takes me for dinner...i hope its not mcdonalds...just kidding. Whats this stuff supposed to be good for anyway. To think Im trying to get rid of my human fat just to slap animal fat all over my body ....how much is in cosmetics? This is gross

The Majority of protein in conditioners, with the exception of Wheat Protein, comes from animals. I know because my girlfriend works at a ingredients distribution company.

Keratin comes from Horse hair, Collagen comes from Cow bones etc. Your precious Elasta QP mango butter has an ingredient that comes from Shark Fat (Squalene), and when they run out of Shark Fat, they throw in the spermacetti (Whale Fat). See any form of lipid/softener in your conditioner? It probably came from an animal.

If this grosses you out, please mail all your conditioners to the United Negro Anky Fund because my hair is thriving off all this animal fat/protein. :)
