The ORDER in which you apply Products to Wet Hair (???)

Poohbear

Fearfully Wonderfully Made
Please indicate what order you apply the following products after washing and conditioning your hair. Do you find that the products work better for you with this order? Why (less frizzy, more moisturized, etc.)? *If you don't use all of the products listed, you don't have to include it in your order. If I didn't mention a product that you use, please include it in your order* ;) :

moisturizer
activator
leave-in
oil
gel
polish/serum
etc.

Thanks in advance!

Shampoo
Conditioner
Surge plus 14
EQP Mango Butter
EQP glaze
Spray Polish and Shine (forgot the name brand)

*Wet*
1. Infusium 23 Leave-In for colored/permed/relaxed hair (ALWAYS 1ST)
2. NTM Silk-Touch Leave-In (roots to ends)
3. Wild Growth Hair Oil to roots and scalp, and a little on ends

And when it has dried:

*Dry*
1. Nexxus Botanic Oil to body of hair and edges (2x daily)
2. Profectiv Healthy Ends to ends (2x daily)

That's it til the next CO wash or shampoo. I apply the Nexxus and Profectiv in the morning and brush through, and at night. If I'm not going anywhere, I just leave my hair pinned up and tied with a scarf to keep it moist. I only air dry, which is why I differentiated what I do to the wet hair and later to my hair when its dry. :)

every 2 weeks
1. mnt shampoo and conditioner
2. ion keratin reconstructor
3. ntm hair mask

applied to soaking wet hair
1. john frieda's frizz ease extra strength serum
2. rusk smoothers leave-in conditioner

applied to dry hair
1. sulfur 8 to scalp

shampoo & conditioner (once a week)

If wearing a "go" style, then conditioner wash...apply gel and/or activator (proclaim aloe). Maintain by either repeating this daily or by misting with water to wake the style up.

If wearing a "protective" style, then add a dab of oil and leave in and plait hair up to dry (or blow dry). Then style.

Deep Con Days (Sat or Sun)

WINTER MONTHS
Apply Suave Humectress (or other cheapo con) to hair (I don't do this all the time)
Shampoo (only 1x!);
Deep Con (Aussie Deeeppp; Amla Oil; Coconut Oil) - 30 min w/low heat
Apply Daily Defense Apple Con on top of hair (let hair cool down for 10 min);
THEN Rinse out;
Leave-In (let air dry for 30 min);
UBH Moisture Cream - blow dry on low
Flat iron w/Liv Creme

Regular Days (Thurs)
See above but without the Deep Con.

hi twin  !!!!
-have you tried ntm ddc? (just wanna know b4 you buy the mask) most ppl like it better than the mask, but i  the mask!!
-rusk does have the best leave-in!!! im thinking about trying the other fragance besides the passionflower.
-i have only been using the sulfur for the past 2 weeks. i really didnt buy it for hair growth...its just a nice grease to me. i can stand the smell, it is not that bad to me. besides after a day of wearing my hair down i cant even smell it :) btw i apply once a week...or whenever my scalp feels dry
- i use the mixture of healthy ends, ntm serum, and ntm leave-in after a day of wearing my hair down. i apply it to the middle and ends of my hair then wrap. i use it to tame the frizzies and keep my hair from wavying up on the ends.
-btw glad to see you got pics up... btw i got some nexxus biotin creme you can have to use in conjunction with the surge... pm me (its free)

ntm ddc= daily deep conditioner (someone correct me if i am wrong)
sylver2 and some other ladies in the ntm users thread recommend it over the mask. (just dont want you to waste your money!) but i love the mask.. i understand its not for everyone though

Pre-treat- Aubrey's GPB or Hot oil combo (15 min)
Wash
Condition
Detangler
Leave-in either (Salerm & Nioxin Bliss or NTM Serum & Shine)
Hot six oil to ends
Wet wrap or roller set
When dry add WGO to roots & ends

Wet Hair:
Shampoo
Condition
Leave-in (NTM Silk Touch or Humectress)
Moisturize (S-Curl)
Serum (NTM Healing Shine)

either Rollerset or PonyTail airdry

Dry Hair: Daily Maintenance
Moisturize with a spray on concoction of (distilled water, NTM Silk Touch, Humectress & Coconut Oil)
Apply a little NTM Serum to edges and hair not in ponytail.

Pooh, I was going to post this! I was wondering the same thing...

Shampoo, condition, Surge/EVOO mix on roots, essential oils, leave in conditioner, serum

I like to apply my oils first, especially before my leave-in conditioner. Then my serum last to help smooth and control the frizzies. And finally after my hair has dried some, moisturizer on my ends.

After washing and conditioning on wet hair, I apply:

Leave-in (Headress)
Oils (Aveda Anti-Humectant pomade)
Protection for ends (Constant Care for Ends)

I've learned that this is the best order. Putting on all oils after the leave-in seals in the moisture. My hair feels very moisturized until my next wash.

I only use a leave in on my wet hair, unless I'm rollersetting then I spray a little oilsheen over the rollers.

This order works best for me.
Shampoo
Condition
Leave in
Surge or Castor Oil
Sta So Fro or UBH moisturizer
Barry Fletcher Oil or Profectiv Healthy Ends on my ends

sometimes i clarify first...especially since I've been using lots of silicones
so, on a moisture day:
1) clarify
2)moisture shampoo(switch to protein conditioner on a protein day)
3)Moisturizing conditioner
4)NTM leave in
5)Fantasia Heat protectant serum - or any other that I like
6)Perm repair setting lotion (#5 and#6 really help detangle)

after a bit of drying has occurred:
7) WGO to roots, maybe length
8) homemade oil as needed

Super shine!!! Super soft!! And silky!

In Order

--Shampoo
--Condition(NTM)
--John Frieda Frizz ease xtra strength serum on soaking wet Hair
--Leave in-Rusk Sensories Smoother
--NTM Silk Touch leave in when hair is dry
--Jojoba oil on ends and all over everyday

less is always more for me. after i rinse out my conditioner I apply my leave in (conditioner or grease) and that's it.
