I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, my Outre Tammy halfie. I wear that one most often but I don't have any pics. Everyone tells me how much they love "my" hair and I just can't tell them that it isn't mine. :look: I will definitely have a get a couple of her to keep in stock.

I also love Outre Keya:

This is my go to halfie when I'm in the mood for nice curls.

For me, it's Outre Tammy! I wear this half wig constantly and people really think it's my hair.

What do you think the best wig or half-wig is? Oh yeah, don't forget :Flahsssss We want pics!
that looks very real... like a braid out

Ive been looking for a half wig that fits me and I think I've finally found one. This is only my "weekend hair" as it's too wild for the work place. Her name is Miko by Vanessa. ( I think ) I got her at my local bss

((pls pardon the appearance.. Had my reading glasses on))

Woah- LOVING this WIG! I may have to do some searches on this one :yep:

I just don't have the heart to tell him its not mine lol

This is what I'm wearing Sensationnel Tiffany now and I love it, I chopped off a lot and layered it. I've gotten a lot of compliments on it... It's a lace front and I left a tiny bit of my hairline out...

The last 2 are the ones I purchased 2 of in different colors... I know I went a little overboard but I had the most growth when wearing half wigs and having the options makes me more likely to stick with my regimine versus tryin to show off my growth. My hair is growing a lot and I want to retain ALL of the growth, with the exception of the occasion dusting or needed trim. I have a sew-in at the moment but at the end of March it will have been in for 2 months and I will be taking it out and going HWTHW, Hard With The Half Wigs... Lol

Ya'll ain't right! I read this thread and ran out and bought 3 wigs! Never wore wigs before so I'm a litte apprehensive--I keep picturing me taking off my hat and it coming off with it, or that sucker just blowing in the breeze when I'm not paying attention! Yeah, I know the likelihood of it actually going down like that is slim to none--but ya girl got issues.

I got the Tammy, which I'm feeling...but for those that already have her do you put any products in it and if so, what?

Also got 2 short wigs, the Keri (WHICH I AM SOOO feeling!!) and a short bob wig with bangs. I figured the bob I could pull off at work without folks looking at me crazy or asking too many questions ("Oooh-when did you get you hair done?? or "Can I touch your new hair??" :nono:

Peeping the Mommy wig a little hard now....but first I guess I should get up the nerve to wear the other 3 in public instead of constantly parading in various mirrors around my house with them on. lol

I will have to post the photos later because I'm in the process of moving and don't have time. But the best half wigs for naturals are Outre Tammy and "Carefree" by It's a Half Wig. I have alot of pictures of me wearing Carefree. It lasts about a month which is pretty good for a half wig and it looks totally natural. I love it! Very easy to blend with your own hair braided out in the front. It's a winner. I chop a few inches off it but you don't have to. And I finger comb it a little bit. They have the best pictures of the wigs on hairsisters.com because they show pictures of the wigs from multiple angles and in different colors. But I've found the best prices on hairwigharlem.com.

I've used carefree gold in mine before. It's like a moisturizer, and its shines in one. It worked just fine. :yep:

All of these wigs look so natural and nice...too bad I'm not "into" them...

I hear what your saying and I'm not a wig person either. I feel that they look fake on me, but the one I made was nice and I kept in on for a week. Then I havent made one since...lol. I like to feel free! lol
