Hey Cichelle :)
I have been tempted to try Chagrin Valley for awhile now... how does it make your hair feel? Do you need to condition afterwards? Thanks:]

Yes, I do need to condition. I was hoping I wouldn't, but it didn't work out that way. It's really hard to explain how it makes my hair feel, but it's nothing like regular shampoo. I like to put conditioner on my hair and use the bar on my scalp. But I don't shampoo often. I do wonder what would happen if I used this shampoo bar every day. I know someone with my hair type that did that and it worked very well after about two weeks. She said it was hard to get used to but her hair has really done well with them. She uses them all the time now. Anyway, I love these bars. I have the Lavender and Spice and the Rosemary Mint. I wish they were a bit more moisturizing. I might try one of her soaps as a shampoo bar at some point. She sells samples that are a good size for trying out, if you're interested. Great customer service.

NTM Silky Touch leave-in on dry hair

On the Fence: MTG (too soon to tell)

Miss: Queen Helene's Hot Jojoba Oil Treatment - didn't notice much of a difference in my hair. I'll try it again.

* Bear Claw Clip (I finally got this y'all--it was a lifesaver today--photo of it in my hair at the end of my photo album)
* New flexirods (got the blue--size smaller) and they work well
* Nature's Blessings hair pomade--works well for my ends
* Flaxseed gel--I finally made a batch that worked, and I love it. It's great to mix w/ the IC Fantasia or alone for a soft hold (I modified it a bit by adding aloe vera gel and jojoba oil).

Misses
*None yet

Jury still out
* Giovanni Direct Leave-in (I am still using my Organics leave-in hair mayo as my main after wash leave-in so I don't know if Giovanni is working for me yet)
* Carrot shampoo bar--I got a shampoo bar from a local vendor that I've used for the past two weeks. I'm not sure if it's getting my hair clean enough. It maybe that I'm not shampooing my hair correctly.

No, I don't mind. I placed the little bottle of hot oil treatment in a shallow bowl of hot water and let it sit for a few minutes, then I drizzled it over my whole head and placed a plastic cap over it for 10 minutes and rinsed/shampooed out.

First the Good:

-IC Fantasia Gel w/Sparklites (only when I'm co-washing every 2-3 days)
-My own mixture of water (1/3), Infusium 23 For Damaged Hair (2/3), S-Curl spray & Olive Oil-- I use this to spritz my hair when it's not straight and maintain moisture.
-CON as a poo and LeKair Cholesterol as a con

Now the Bad:

-Nexxus Therappe: I was trying to finish the bottle but caved and got Cream of Nature. This poo really makes my hair dry! :(
