Nope. If its not the original formula I wont touch it. $50 for some mineral oil laden goop...:lachen:I can get the same thing for less than $5 at the BSS.

I used to use Miss Jessies a lot when I first BC'd but it started drying my hair out. Now that I've done a lot more experimenting I've found other things that have the same effect for a lot less money. If they are at Target and cheaper though I might try again.

As least more folks will try it.... I also notice that (for CA) it is only in 'black' neighborhoods......

I really don't think they are going to drop the price much.

The other salon brands that they've brought into the store didn't get a price drop. Chi Silk is the same price, my Mizani conditioner is still the same price, etc.

This makes it more available to the masses so they don't have to keep ordering it offline but are they really gonna drop the price?

lol! well, the packinging is nicer than Dax grease or Pink Loition...i'm assuming it'll be with the ethnic hair care products

It's at the "black" Targets, because it is a product for African Americans. It makes perfect business sense...supply and demand. I live in a "white" community and I don't even have a BSS in my town.

I'm just a little excited that my local Target is on the list. I'm getting pretty tired of ordering online. I'm sampling the baby buttercreme now. If it winds up working, then I MIGHT purchase more. However, I wonder if they'll pull a Taliah Waajid and water down the stuff (yeah, I said it TW, you know you put some extra water in that conditioner!):nono:


I don't think they'll lower the price, but I'm curious if they'll honor the annual B1G1 sale. But that is way off from now.

Usually when a small company or an exclusive product does big things it means the quality will be down graded for mass production. Prime Example Carol's daughter her products where good back in 99 and now it's just not the same another is Nexxus.

I just wish companies would keep the quality of a product and not look at the major dollars in mass production and distribution.

Chile puleese! Lol They will not be lower their prices. They are simply going to make it easier for folks to get a hold of that stuff. They have a customer base that obviously don't mind paying their price.
I just hope they keep that Bogo Sale every December. Lol. I was shocked the Bogo Sale was in salons this year.

I am happy for them. I remember when they were just Curve salon and first starting out and blew up on NC.com many moons ago. Now look at them in Target! Whether you like their products or not you cannot really knock their hustle and all the hard work and falling down and getting up they had to do...now they have national distribution in Target. This is huge and worthy of congratulations.
