I currently use no-lye relaxers, but I'm thinking about switching to lye relaxers because I heard they aren't as drying to your hair and they don't leave calcium deposits. For you ladies that relax/texlax using lye relaxers, what's a good brand to use? I have a somewhat sensitive scalp and I'm scared that if I use a lye relaxer it will burn the mess out of it (had a bad experience with a lye relaxer in a salon once, but the lady was being harsh with my hair so that could have caused the problem). Also it would help if it's affordable, probably no more than 10 to 15 dollars. TIA
