Has anyone used the Split-Ender?

Hi-I saw the infomerical on the split-ender and was thinking about getting one. Has anyone used it and if so, did you like it?

I may be wrong, but isn't it impossible to get rid of split ends?

You can get rid of them by cutting them off, which is what I think this contraption does. You cannot however stop hair from ever spliting. That is just a fact of life.
