do you always prepoo?

Naw, not everytime. I mainly do it if my hair is super tangled (to help remove some of the shed hair before washing), super dry, or in preparation to use heat in my hair. I mainly use only oils for my prepoo.

I stopped for a few months because I felt lazy and didn't think it made a difference. I restarted once I noticed my hair became very dry, despite the products I used. I prepooed last night, with conditioner and honey, and my hair is now back to it's well moisturized, shiny self.

99% of the time I pre poo/ dry DC with a mix of AOHSR and GSO. I mostly do it this way because I'm too lazy to DC after and have to hop in an out of the shower. But I also think the prepoo keeps my poo (baking soda & water) from drying out my hair.
