Not sure yet, that was my first time using it. It has a nice sweet fresh scent and left my hair feeling soft. Idk about slip or anything since I had already detangled and rinsed it out standing out of the shower with the shower attachment.
I will give a better review the next time I steam with it. I picked it up since it was designed for steaming, smelled nice and was on clearance for $6.49. Not bad for 14.4 oz!

Eta. Forgot to say yes it's the one in the light blue jar.

How do you like this? I've been eyeing this since I found out about it a few months ago... It's the one in the light blue jar right?

Wow. Where was it on clearance for that price? Thanks for the review!

Steaming again now with Bigen Deep Conditioner. Feels good so far... hopefully it will soften up the effects of the other two.

Steaming now with Motions Oil Moisturizer Silk Protein Deep Conditioner

Did not like. I think my natural hair liked mineral oil better than my relaxed hair does...

Deep conditioning steam now with The Hair Chemist Jojoba and Shea Butter Mask.

Nope to that too. I read the ingredients and it has beeswax in it. Should've read beforehand...

Steaming now with ORS Hair Masque. It has lanolin in it... if it doesn't work, I'll know I can't do any kind of waxy ingredients in my deep conditioners.

I steamed today with shescentit's okra reconstrucor. My hair seems like it is going through a slow growing period. I dyed part of my hair in July and I only see 2 inches of growth in that area.

I'm still steaming, but I've been away from the boards for a while. Last Sunday I steamed henna in for 1 hour. My "new" computer chair leaves me hurting for sitting in one spot for that long. My $19.99 computer chair was just fine.

I went back and pulled out the EVOO too. Jojoba is too expensive to use this way.

I will use some of the 'cheaper' oils for this. EVOO, EVCO

I have a 16 ounce bottle of Rice Brand Oil on the way, so I may use it for Steamer-HOT

Gurl...I know I'm Tardy to The Party!

Folks been Oil-Steaming for years and this is my 1st time doing/trying it.

Don't even ask me why?:nono:

No, you're ok  I didn't try it until sometime within the last year... I always thought that you had to cover your head with a hot oil treatment under a dryer or heat up the oil before hand and apply. I thought the oil would run down my face (which it did) and so that's why I don't do it anymore... like you said, some oils are too expensive to be just using like that. Let me know how it works for you though... Castor oil was the best for me doing that because it was so thick and heavy it didn't really run.
