Now the lightskinned -good hair hoes mad! DAMN

To get people riled up to generate more hits/subscribers to her Youtube page so she can make some extra money in time for Christmas. She and that other toilet mouth are just cashing in on controversy

This is what I said...she getting all kinds of subscribers because of this drama. I had never heard of that QueenNatural chick until today.

SMH at the title of this thread

So now if you're light skinned you're not entitled to your feelings? Oh ok

Right!! Didn't you know everything is just dandy and lovely 24/7 in the Light Skinned neighborhood.

^^I think the controversy started with some light skin/good hair girl saying she wasn't accepted at a natural hair expo because of her hair texture. Personally, I find that hard to believe. So I can see why she is getting those types of vid responses.

IA - The girl in the first video was complaining because someone was rude to her at a natural hair expo because she has type 2/3 hair. Sometimes, some people just love being offended. If you walk into an establishment acting like your $h!t don't stink and someone gives you stank attitude, then why assume it's your hair that causing them to act that way? Or maybe the person is just rude generally...it really isn't that serious

HIMAY10NENCE: "***** if you natural, get yo a** up withcho hurr all matted to yo muhphuckin head and go outside. You ain't gon do dat sh*t! You gon put that wash and go sh*t in there and make it look like a jherri curl and slick them beady beads down on the side and make baby doll hurr .Because the truth is, if you so in love witcho hurr and yo gotdamn texture pick the sh*t out and wear it in an afro and walk outside. You b*tches ain't doing dat!"

:lol:But she's not a 'natural nazi' I think she's talking more about women talking about natural this and natural that, then trying to make their hair what it's not.

Looks at my twistout siggy. :look: I guess I'm one of the people she's talking about.

I'm so sick of folks trying to dismiss other's experiences just on the basis of skin color and hair texture. I think Hymay had some valid points but so did the other girl. No matter who you are or what you look like you will have some kind of a "struggle", no matter what Nikki says she will not have the same issues as with detangling, shrinkage etc as a coarser texture. Hymay seems to have a boulder size chip on her shoulder or she would have been moved on to a new topic.

Unfortunately there are these silly biases in our culture but you have to be a bigger person and rise above. I'm well aware that my hair won't do certain things, is not curly etc. but I can't just dismiss someone else because of their looser texture. I may not care for there styling tips, but to completely be like " ***** you ain't know what it was like for us growing up" and carry on like it's her fault is absurd. All of this is just more buy in for the good vs bad hair theory, and continuing the cycle of hatred deep rooted in so many.

Well I'm in shock that a natural stylist refused to do someone's hair - i.e. himay10nence - because it is "too natural". smh I'd have put the stylist on blast long ago. And as for the rest of the video she basically speaks the truth. People usually don't like the truth.

I refuse to watch this video...but why is her name hymen10?? I'm sure there is some sort of parody in her name but I can't figure it out.

Whose truth is she speaking other than her own? She doesn't know me to speak my truth. Besides, I find that there tends not to be a lot of truth in generalities and stereotypical statements. People who refer to women as ho's, Bitshes and MF's lose validity as soon as the words escape their mouths. Isn't this the same woman who just hosted a meet and greet to "empower" Black women? :nono:

See this is the crazy thing to me. I do think she is very knowledgeable on alot stuff but some of the things she says seems so hypocritical. I wouldn't want to go to someone's empowerment work shop if I knew the person that was giving it felt as though light skinned black folks never experienced trials and tribulations in life and didn't need any empowerment hahahaha.

This woman makes absolutely no sense to me. She is suggesting that women who wear their hair natural don't really love their texture because they won't wear their hair matted down to their heads. This is like the people who say, "If you're going to go natural go 'ALL THE WAY natural' and stop shaving, stop bathing..." Those fools. What woman with 1a hair would leave her home with her hair in knots and tangles?

She has many a chip on those shoulders, it appears that talking to a camera isn't resolving those issues. Maybe she should talk to a professional instead.

And her vulgarity doesn't offend me, her ignorance does. But on the same token, throwing around a bunch of filth, flarn, flarn, filth doesn't make you Eddie Murphy. I don't find her funny AT ALL.

I'm not even going to discuss the name...LOL.

Here we go AGAIN with if you really natural and love your texture you would leave your hair matted to your head:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I subscribe to her channel and sometimes I watch her videos. She has a foul mouth - but as long as she's not running a kiddie channel that's okay. And just coz a person uses a lot of curse words doesn't mean they don't have something to say. She doesn't always talk about hair - sometimes she's talking about other issues - health, relationships, empowerment. Vis a vis hair she speaks the kind of truth that people with tight woolly heart of Africa naps, the 4b+'s who get told time and again their hair doesn't exist on hair boards, etc. can relate to. And she does it with a sense of humor. I see comments under her videos by some people who say they have light skin and long curly hair and they're laughing too. There's a part 1 also on her channel which is actually funnier than the one in the original post for anyone who cares enough to watch it.

Agreed. Either you are for Black women or you aren't. I checked out some of her videos where she was talking some sense but then she makes videos like this. Either she actually believes this garbage and needs some help or she is playing on the feelings of people who do believe this and have been hurt for her personal gain. Either way this is not empowering or productive.

I'm just glad she was chomping that gum like she usually is. She talks like a dude.

Did yall see the other video by the other girl? People are really goin in because of the first girl's video. It's kind of depressing because all 3 ladies seem sincerely hurt/sad/mad, all over hair texture/skin color.

I'm sorry y'all but she is hilarious to me. I think she reads too much into this natural stuff for her not to give a **** like she says. And light skin does not equal loose textured hair. but many things n her video I have always thought when it comes to colorism. Me and her are from the same city, and growing up here was just as she said. Light skin and long pretty hair meant you had it all, no worries (from others looking in). She is too old though to still think this.

And this is it in a nutshell. I would hope by the time somebody reaches the age of 30(and this is pushing it) that they know better to express these type of feelings and work towards ending the division or at least be smart enough not to acknowlege it in a negative way.

Crazy funny! I really didn't pay attention to what she was saying because I was so stunned that she was going off so raw. Man. Really?? Woosaahhhh!
