Who is she?
ooooooo...
Not to be mean, but I find it really awkward for me to fawn over someone's hair which isn't technically "black." So yeah her hair is nice, but I know her texture is not realistic for a black woman. Also, I don't know why, but it seems odd that this picture is posted on a black hair forum. No offense tho.
^^^I wasnt aware you could only acknowledge nice hair if the person is black and/or has a specific texture
Hold Up! [seaborn voice] wait a g&%$#! minute!!
.....With a sig proudly displaying a brazilian hair weave install tho? Im quite tickled.
No offense tho.

Afro-brazilian, still would be a person of color no?
And I happen to have a BLACK friend with a similar texture of hair.
I love my people, I swear.

LOL. First off, there is a such thing as Afro-Brazilian. Secondly, the weave blends with my hair, so *shrugs*. I can't help what they name it for marketing purposes so black people can buy it. Anyways, the texture of the weave I have in my hair is closely related to my natural hair texture so why wouldn't I wear it? I don't see black women with hair like the one in the original post.
But like I said, I'm not trying to start any problems. I admitted her hair looked nice. But I wouldn't have personally started a thread on her hair on a hair care forum for black women. I came in here expecting to see one thing and was met with something totally different. That's all...no drama.
But.....
...you bought hair that came from a woman who I would bet money looks VASTLY more like her than you....
Yall can pretend she was """afro-brazilian""" if you want toLOL.
At any rate, I think your hair looks cute, its just ironic that a person who obviously admires the hair of another race of woman by going as far as attaching it to her head, would make that sort of comment.
