Phytospecific question did I get jipped?

Months ago, i ordered some phytospecific index 2. i have never looked inside the box until just now when i opened the sealed (with plastic--nothing looked unusual). Well i am reading the directions. My jar of the Straightening cream is not filled to brim. It appears only half is in the jar--just a little above the line that reads "1/2". Now, the jar has 7.6 oz as content weight and this honestly does look like about a cupful of cream is in this jar. The jar appears about 12oz more or less. So, did i get jipped and someone stole half my cream or is this just how it looks in the jar?

Nope you didn't. By the time you add the reactor (or whatever it's called) and stir it'll be very close to the top.
