OK...4a/b natural is resounding in my head. I thought you were transitioning. How in the world did your hair come out so flat on those rollers? I know you said your hair has to be soaking wet and I can see that. But I don't think THIS 4a/b hair is going to lay like that. Your hair looks alot like my sisters and she's 3c. I don't know if my hair would come out that smooth...
Lol...that's why I went and posted a pic of my texture...I meant to put in the title that it was done on natural hair.
Yes, the hair has to be SOAKING wet. SOAKING wet I mean, even though my hair was wet...when I parted a section I sprayed it DOWN with my water bottle and combed it with my rat-tail comb...spraying it even more to keep it soaking wet (and pulling on it a little as I combed it to elongate it before putting it on the roller).
You have to make sure the hair is soaking wet, pulled very taught before placing on the roller. You also have to roll the hair VERY taught. How the hair looks on the roller is how it'll look once it's dry...if it's not smooth on the roller when it's wet it won't be smooth when it's dry. I'm gonna put step-by-step details of what I did in my fotki....but these are the most important things. Also, it's supposed to be easier to get it straight if you set the hair in thinner sections (use more rollers as opposed to less rollers).
So...hair must be wet....hair must be straight (comb through the section thoroughly)...and rollers must be taught
