I did before I got a soft bonnet dryer. It is OK. You must rotate the bonnet often in order to ensure everything is dry. It also gets very hot. Its good for deep conditioning.

Yep, I have the gold version tho. It works just fine when I DC with heat, sometimes it tends to float up.. I've found the perfect position now, so it doesnt do it as much. Its great to have just in case your hooded dryer dies on you (Mine did.. lol)!

I have one that I purchased from Sally's a little over two months ago. I have since ditched my hooded dryer. I use it to dry my hair for about 30 minutes then I allow my hair to air dry until dry. I love it!

Qualitee,

Thank you for your post. I googled soft bonnet dryers and found these with great reviews:

I had one of these ages ago. I didn't know that they were still being made. I will purchase one of the above and use my attachment for when I travel.

Again, thanks for the post!

I have that Golden hot soft bonnet dryer. I am over to my mother's and use it here. I have a wheeled floor model and a steamer floor model at home, but I have not been there because my parent's have been ill and I need to do deep conditioning treatments to go. It is nice for a portable. The hot gets really hot and the low is warm and not overpowering. Hope that works for someone. It was $50.00. Good investment.

I have one like that and I use it with a blow dryer that's at least 7 years old because it's the only one with a nozzle small enough to fit the attachment. (That's one thing, you have to make sure you have a blow dryer that will fit the attachment). I use mine for deep conditioning and roller sets where I've left my blow dryer on for an hour or so with no problems. Like another poster mentioned, I have to rotate it to get even drying.

I have one but it's gold in color. It was always in my gym bag back when I was relaxed and working out daily. I used the blow dryers at the gym and the bonnet to dry my rollerset before going to work. It worked very well for me although I haven't used it in a while since I have a steamer and a Pibbs.
