hey Ladies,,

My lotion that I recieved as a gift from a company called Beauty Controll smells wonderful.
It is in the scent of Lime margarita.
The ingredients have me tempted to use this as a leave in on my natural 4a locks.

Ingredients
Purified water, Octyl Palmitate, Dimethyl Sufone, Propylene Glycol, Urea, Glycerin , Mineral Oil, Hybrid safflower Oil, stearic Acid, Emu Oil, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Dimethicone carboner and other ingredients.
It leaves my feet, yes feet silky soft all day.

Tropical Oasis Body Lotion,
Water, glycerin, Stearic Acid , Hydrolyzed Silk, Sorbitol, Cahamonila Extract, yarrow Extract, Lemongrass Extract, Hops Extract, Rosemary Extract, Carbomer, Proylene .

This too is wonderful lotion.
Has anyone use lotion in their hair?-

yea, just for the heck of it i've put lotion in my hair.if i ever go broke and run out of leave in thats what i'll do.

i've tried it and even cheap old st. ives dry skin formula works very well for moisturizing my hair. better than many hair products. i will be using castor oil and body lotion for moisture from now on. castor oil is basically a natural body moisturizer that many of us use on our hair. so this same logic works for the manufactured lotions. the better the lotion is on my body the better it works on my hair. i tried salerm 21 and found that it too is basically a lotion made for hair. i think body lotion for dry skin is more moisturizing although salerm is good for detangling (giving "slip" as you handle the hair).

There are some people on the board who use body lotion/body butters as hair moisturizers. I remember posts about baby lotion, Palmer's Cocoa Butter Lotion, Tree Hut (Walmart brand I think...) body butters and A, D, & E Ointment (the one for babies) being used as hair moisturizers. I've never tried it.
