Spinoff: Knots at the ends of your hair

I get these knots at the end of my hair. I wear my natural hair pressed. I am planning to get my hair relaxed for the first time since January 2001 (I believe) and I'm worried that the knots will cause problems such as breakage. What do you guys think?

It's been ages, so nice to see you here. How have you been dealing with these little knots? Personally, I can get these in the winter months. I've either got to unravel them or snip them out with nail scissors.

I am guessing that your upcoming relaxer will be a complete one, since you have been wearing your hair naturally for a good while. I would definitely do something with those tiny knots prior to the relaxer.

What if you trim the knots before you relax?

Hi Jade. I lurk here often and have been taking in a lot of advice from all of you here. I will be getting a complete relaxer and I'm very nervous but excited.

Well anyway, I've been doing little trims here and there so I guess I will do that this week before I go or have the hairdresser do it first. I think you guys are right.
