Happy Weekend Ladies! I hope everybody had a 'decent' week.

Hope we can all settle down a bit and enjoy the weekend. And take some "ME" time.

Whether you do your hair or not this weekend, take some time to just be good to yourself. You Deserve it.

We only have 1 more weekend left in September....2013 flew by.

What will YOU be doing This Weekend to Nurture & Nourish YOUR HAIR??

It's finally here: flat ironing my hair today.
Prepood overnight with evco
Clarify: Tressemme deep cleanse shampoo
Moisturizing shampoo: kerastase oleo relax shampoo
Quick protein conditioner for 10 minutes in the shower with UNA intensive protein conditioner
DC: Kerastase nutrithermique (claims to be a heat protectant treatment)
Leave in & heat protectant: one layer of kerastase ciment thermique (strength) and one layer of kerastase nectar thermique (moisture)
Blow dry damp hair
More heat protectant: kerastase oleo relax serum
Flat iron with my sedu revolution.
This will be my very first time doing this, and i truly hope i get decent results. These products have worked well on my hair when i was relaxed and transitioning. Since, i BC in january, i put them aside for all natural products. I hope that my hair will not be shocked by the sudden overload of cones and non natural products. Wish me luck, cause it's DH birthday, and he's been waiting for this, lol.

Heavy oiling of scalp tonight with essential and Ayurvedic oils. Scalp massage.

Tomorrow: Clarify using diluted Joico K-Pak Clarifying shampoo (one 1/2-dollar-sized dollop in 12oz water), soak/saturate my hair in coconut milk, deep conditioner, sesame/olive/macadamia oil mix, tea rinse, ACV rinse, detangle, and air-dry. Adding coconut milk and pure olive oil back to my regimen is long overdue. Hope to start doing a quick coconut milk treatment weekly.

DoDo

Big Hair, Don't Care
Pre-conditioned with coconut oil and Curl Junkie Curl Rehab

Cleansed with Ouidad Curl Co-wash

Deep conditioned with BASK Whiskey Repairative Hair Soak

Lightly blow dried on medium/low on naked hair

Twisted hair in medium twists

Sealed hair lightly with Jamaican Mango and Lime Black Castor Oil Coconut (this soaked into my hair! Woot! Staple.)

Was going to use my chi infra treatment as my heat protection then realized it isn't a leave in conditioner :perplexed

Thankfully my heat wasn't up that high and my hair is medium in width in most places and coarse in my bang crown and nape area. I am also using the tension method. My hair does not seem mad at me today and since I didn't blow dry it any where near straight I am positive it will revert.

Next time though I have to do better.:nono:

ETA: Hair is soft and sheeny. The hair is not straight just slightly stretched. I like. :yep:

What I should is BKT and henna, I havebeen saying I'm going to do this for three weeks. I've been lazy and this takes a WHOLE weekend to do. UGH.
Ok, Ok, I'm going to do this this weekend. Well, Maybe not. No NO. I am. I will.

So Sat, I will BKT my hair. with NuNaat. Then I will rinse henna with Lush caca Noir and leave in overnight, rinse and DC.
I don't know how I'm going to style. Not in the mood to flat iron twice in one weekend. We will see.

About to rinse out a DC that I left in overnight. I'm already in small-ish twists, so after rinsing out the DC, I'll put in a leave-in and band my hair until Sunday afternoon, when it will hopefully be dry. Leaving my twists in until next weekend.

H/O treatment w/ Wild grow on Friday,, on today,, relaxed w/ Dr. Miracle after only a 9 week stretch, tea rinse w/ black and green tea, then DC w/ Palmers protein pack under the dryer for 30 minutes, wrapped w/ my own mix of JBCO, EVCO, Wild Grow, vitamin E oil, and a vital oil mix by ORS. It stays wrapped up till I go back to work on Wednesday.
I'm tryin to stay away from heat so, wraps are it for me. Not really long enough for a bun,, and the phony ones are not for me.
