Pressing comb users

PinkSkates is wonderful... but you know - I had better results with the comb attachment - straightening as much as possible there - and one pass on the flat iron.

Just me...

Thanks for the bump! I think (when I get done with the no heat challenge) I will try pressing. I get frizzy/puffy ends if I blow dry and flat iron (could be the heat protectant I'm using too or left over scab hair).

wouldn't a pressing comb be bad for the hair for the same reasons we should use seamless combs?

Not unless the metal has spurs or rough spots on the metal.

Straightening combs should be smooth and hair should be detangled before using.

For those who press what is your pressing routine? Someone stated, she wash, condition and while hair is damp add pressing grease/creme, blowdry and then press. I am wondering would the pressing grease, work as a heat protectant, if not, when would one add heat protectant to the hair, to avoid heat damage?
