Please Hep!! Issues with neutralizer!

I've been lurking on this board for awhile--Please help ladies...
I purchased Mizani lye butter blends mild relaxer. I did not purchase the Mizani neutralizer, instead I bought elasta neutralizer instead. I did a test to see if the neutralizer would turn pink if it came in contact with the relaxer as the bottle says it has a color indicator. IT DID NOT TURN PINK!! I am scared to use this stuff. Please help.

In my opinion, I would not us a different brand. I know other ladies have done it, but one thing I don't mess with is the relaxing process. Can you get the Mizani blends neutralizing shampoo?

The neutralizer is designed to work along with the relaxer. If you don't have a choice then you can use it just make sure that rinse very well. Even when you think it's out keep rinsing.

I wanted add that if you are not comfortable just dash out and buy one with color indicator or the mizani one. Just lather up your hair with this one and put a plastic cap/bag on and depending on the weather (i didn't see where your from), put a hat over that. HTH.
