New Year's Resolutions

OK New Years is coming, what are your New Year's (Hair or Otherwise) Resolutions?


I'll start...

  1. Learn how to do more protective styles that are flattering.
  2. Use a scarf or bonnet at night with my satin pillow case.
  3. Become more faithful with DC'g.
  4. Not to jump on every bandwagon.
  5. Try more Ayurvedic products.

My Resolutions are as Follows:
1. Continue with my Regimen (whatever that is)
2. Try to incorporate SOME protective styling
3. Stretch my relaxers a little further
4. Do not try a new product until I'm thru with existing bottle, cream, etc.
5. Start doing a little dusting of my own

3. I've been since 2006 but i wanna educate myself more. I wanna learn the philosophy of hair, anatomy of the hair shaft and understanding certain processes.
4. Sticking to my regimen
 
1. Stick to the same products
2. Be consistent with my regimen
3. Stop buying so many products
4. Stretch relaxers
5. Try more heat free styling
6. Keep trimming every 12 weeks
 
1. Be consistent with my hair care regime...NO SLACKING OFF ALLOWED

2. Be consistent with my work-out regime ...NO SLACKING OFF ALLOWED

..This alone will help me attain everything I need to stay fly

3. Double my target for my business
 
  1. As long as my stylist takes care of my hair, let her continue.
  2. If I don't like something or see it's not working for my hair, speak up!
  3. Maintain healthy hair between stylist visits.
  4. Get trims when necessary.
  5. No heat except at the salon.
  6. Maintain a healthy diet and work out regimen.
 
NEVER let anyone but myself apply a relaxer to my head.
Eat healthy, drink more water.
Keep my hair as moist as possible.
Grow out the two broken patches I have once and for all.

Adding to my list

Hair:

  1. Products - either use them up (even if I have to mix them with something else) or give them away.
  2. Be consistent
  3. Detangle atleast every 2 days
  4. Take my vitamins EVERYDAY
General:

  1. Live life to the fullest.
  2. Do something everyday to work toward my goals.
  3. Keep in touch with loved ones
  4. Workout atleast 3 times per week
  5. Take better care of myself
 
I don't really have any New Year's resolutions for my hair. I just plan on to continue treating it well and to continue transitioning.
 
1. Stick to my regimen
2. Increase water intake
3. Stay consistent with vitamins
4. Stop being a PJ and find my core staple products
5. Learn/Practice rollersets, flexi-set, bantu-knots, twist-outs, braid-out
 
-No trims only dusting(lost alot of progress by cutting)
-Wear more buns and rollerset more often
-Continue to transition to natural
-Update fotki every 2 months
-Workout 4x a week
-Limit flat iron usage to 1x every month or every 2 months
-Deep condition weekly for 30 min under dryer

1) Follow a simple regimen
2) Find a simple regimen
3) Do my own Relaxers(so far so good)
4) Do a year of OCT/BeeMine
5) Try more Ayurvedic products(besides oils)
6) Try a no combing regimen for six months or longer
7) Try washing hair every 14-16 days
8) Try Deep Conditioning(maybe)
9) Find staple products
10) Reach brastrap by Winter 09
 
1. Stick with my regimne
2. Workout 3-5 days a week
3. Use up one product before buying another
4. Try a more Aryudeic (sp) hair practice
5. No Sulfates or Cones
 
1) up my deep conditioning to 2x a week
2) rollerset and or flexi rod set instead of flat ironing
3)use up all my products
4)stick to staple lines, joico and kenra(and PM and ojon leave in)
5) up my water in take
 
My hair has turned into a hot mess so I am getting back in the swing of things:

1. No more stylists- They never do my hair the way I want it.
2. Deep conditioning and roller setting 2x a week.
3. Write in my new hair journal to keep up with product reviews and regimen.
4. No blowdrying!

I can't wait for my hair to get back to normal: long, beautiful, hair!
 
Stick with my current reg.
Protect my ends a lil more.
Drink more water.
Eat more lean protein.
 
-Maintain and improve. Stick to Bootcamp, don't break any rules and have to punish myself.
-Get through Session One with a smile, because I'm going super-hard on myself since it's Winter.
-Only see stylists for: Prom. I will also get my hair done once during the summer, by a friend of a friend. But that's all.
 
My new years resolution is to wear my scarf every night. I have slacked off alot since I had my baby11/07. I have noticed that my ends need more moisture as a result. I am also trying to only dust when my ends are split. So far I have not dusted since July 08
 
1. figure out and stop breakage that's taking place on lower left side ASAP!!! No more split ends!!!
2. take hair and multi vitamins every night
3. eat healthy
4. drink more water
5. Maintain a healthy head of hair through protective styles
6. No more hair products until I'm out (except for replacements)
7. Get Fine in 09 (lose 15 lbs)
 
Be consistent and LEARN HOW TO STYLE MY HAIR!!! Seriously ladies, if anyone's resolution is to teach hair styles, then I volunteer to be the student. I have watched tutorials over and over and cannot figure out how to deal with the beehive thing at the top when I wrap. I have the same style from 20 years ago when I roller set.

My Hair resolutions:

-Be more patient with my naps and attempt to transition again.
-Use up a lot more of my stash or give away before buying more.
-Try to use more natural products
-Don't go fool with my new flat iron and get damage
-Curse out anyone who mocks me trying to transition..ish aint funny.
-Not be so vain or obsessed with my hair. It can be taken away from me.
 
My only resolution is to keep my hair stretched at ALL times.

Everything else is important, but it doesn't matter how moisturized my hair is if I have a knot on each strand that will have to be caught so it doesn't cause shed hairs to get tangled in it. I learned the hard way that shrunken fro's/puffs equal knots which lead to tangles and breakage. When my hair is stretched I do not get any knots whatsoever.
 
1) Reach BSL, SL in it's natural state.
2) Keep my hair nice and healthy.
3) Only 1 trim this year.
4) Keep my regimen simple.
5) Use MTG everyday/ every other day.
6) Gain 12 inches in 2009.
7) Take my vitamins and supplements.
8) Flat iron a max of 2x a year.
9) Work out 3x a week.
10) Love MY hair!
