Is argan oil a good oil to seal with

I am trying to grow out my edges and I have JCBO, rosemary oil and sublimed sulphur in a mix. It is my understanding that sulphur can be a bit drying, so before I use that on my scalp I want to spray my hair with a bit of water and glycerine and then seal with argan oil.

I just want to know if argan oil is a good oil to seal with

And I also want to know how much glycerine is too much glycerine

I've heard that JBCO can be softening though. Have you actually tried the mixture yet? You might not need anything else. Not sure about the glycerine mix. Have you used this successfully to moisturize your hair before? If so then go ahead and try spritzing a little Pre-application of your oil mix. I always spritz my hair with UBH Silk Spray (used to be Dew Spray) before I apply oil to my edges. I've tried to seal with argan oil but it does not seem to work for me. It's great on an itchy scalp though.
