How soon after colorshines can you relax

Hi there,

I am wondering how soon after using colorshines can you relax. My friend is natural and she used a colorshines in cinnamon because she was getting bored with her hair. She did this about a week ago. She would now like to relax. How long should she wait before relaxing?

There is no need to wait. Ideally you want to relax first then color, but since she did it already that's fine.

It is a color with no ammonia or peroxide.

She can relax and use the colorshines on the same day... If she colored first and now has waited a week, she's more than likely going to have to recolor anyway. I can't see colorshines holding it's color through a relaxer.
