How do I make a flexi-rod set last?

How do you ladies wear your hair at night to make a flexi-rod set last a week so the curls stay intact without matting? I want to try this style next week for a wedding and I need it to last at least 3 days because I'll be away from home.

At night I moisturize, pile my hair on the top of my head, and put on a satin bonnet.

As long as I sleep on my side and my hair is up, the curls don't get too flat. My last set lasted about a week doing this.

This is what I do. I have to make sure that my hair is out of the way inside my satin bonnet and massage jojoba oil for shine, less frizz and softness in the morning or night. Only use your fingers to fluff the hair out.

Yea, I have had NO problems getting my flexi's to last -- in fact, they stay around too long for me!
