I have read in here hot oil treatments are good. I need help.
1)Do you do a hot oil treatment on wet or dry hair?
2)Do you shampoo and condition your hair before or after the hotoil treatment?
3)What products do you use to do this?
4)Do you have to sit under a dryer for a hot oil treatment?
5)How often should you do it?

I need your help ladies.

Re: HOT OIL TREATMENT Q and A

When I do hot oil treatments, I do my the same time with my conditioner (mix hot oil and conditioner together). Therefore, I'm doing it on wet hair. I like and use L'Oreal Nature's Therapy Hot Oil. I don't sit under the dryer when doing this step. I try to do this once a week. HTH.

Re: HOT OIL TREATMENT Q and A

1) I do mine on dry hair.
2) I shampoo after the treatment.
3) I'm always changing.. EVOO, Jojoba Oil, Evening Primrose, Hot 6, Wonder 8... Any oil is good, I just like to try a lot! (PJ!)
4) I actually dont heat the oils. I just mix them and put them on my hair and let them stay on anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours.
5) I do them every time I shampoo my hair. (not on co wash days)

My girl and I do them as a prewash.....
we get a bottle of olive oil from 1.00 store
we heat it up in the microwave and then put a heating cap for about 45mins
