curly perming tips needed

hello ladies, its been a minute since i've posted here and now I need some advice. I have been wearing lacefronts and now I am looking to curly perm one of them. I bought a care free curl kit which includes pre-treatment, curl booster, and neutralizer. I did not buy the curl rearranger because the yaki hair that I want to perm is already straight. do you think i need the curl rearranger even though the hair is already straight? can anyone give me some advice as to how to go about perming this hair? That sounds right to me. Just curious why you didn't buy a perm kit instead, you know, the kind used by straight haired individuals who want to achieve curls.

well they all said not for use on dye hair. the cream of nature was the only one that had a strength of curler that could be used on previously dyed hair
