AUGUST 07 What did you buy this week?

I bought Henna, Indigo, emu oil and rosemary oil. After reading pages and pages of threads about Henna, I have finally decided to give it a try.

I couldn't wait to go shopping! I will hit the health food store next trip.
I was shopping so long the lady gave me a bonus card and 10% off my purchase!

I bought:
Lustrasilk Moisturizing Cholesterol Shampoo
Infusim 23 Moisturizing formula Pro-vitamin leave-in treatment w/ panthenol
Mega Care Olive Oil
Lustrasilk Shea Butter Cholesterol Plus
Fantasia IC Shea Butter Oil Moisturizer
Wet & Wavy wet gel (for those wet curly looks)

I used them all. Mixed Olive Oil w/ Infusium 23 (my hair feels wonderful). Lustrasilk shampoo was very light and detangler my tight coils. I used some of the Wet and Wavy, but will reserve that for special do's.

I am glad my BFF turned me onto to LHCF!

Purchasing the vials separately was very expensive but worth it. I found a website that sells them, so next time I will purchase the entire box of 12 vials.

I had to break out my Fermodyl 619 extra strength today and I really did enjoy using it.

Sometimes, I sleep on that one because I love the regular so much for moisture. But I am glad I used the extra strength for a change.

I bought some more Aveda Elixir (a store near me keeps getting shipments, so I keep buying them 6 at a time)...LOL, shameful, I know.

I also bought Eqyss Rehydrant, Mega Tek, Permier Shampoo Detangler Shine. I hope I like this stuff. The sizes are big but I still paid a lot. (I found a store in my area so I didn't have to order online). It just so happens that the store is near my Aveda Institute. Neat!

Ok, it might be few days though before I get to try it. Are you afraid to use it because it was discontinued?

Kind of OT, but I think it's ok to use. Beauty supply stores still have it on the shelves--it wasn't recalled or anything. I think they're just going to remarket a similar product under a new product line so they discontinued it.
