Can you put biotin directly on scalp?

I just bought a bunch of biotin pills and i was wondering if i could mix it with oil, conditioner, or sulfur 8 and apply in on my scalp. Has anyone out there tried this?

they have biotin shampoos and condishes, so i guess you could...but i read that topical application of biotin isnt really effective, it would be better just to take the pills

I also read that biotin in shampoos etc. is useless. I wouldn't waste my time, just stick to taking the pills.
