L'anza Healing Moisture - almost no breakage, bling, and swing

L'anza Healing Strength - almost no breakage, bling and swing

My leave in LOVE, LOVE, LOVE = Tresemme 4+4 Keratin Splash (creamy, but thin consistency)

I can't believe that no on else is feeling this stuff.

Profectiv Damage Free 2 Phase Leave in, it is the only liquid leave in I use after I wash my hair. I have been using it for years because it detangles easily and it doesn't weigh down my hair at all.

Love this, but I can't seem to find it recently. :afro:

Sorry if big. Couldn't find a smaller pic. Got this gem for $9.99 at Marshalls. Didn't realize reatail is $29.99.

The stuff softened my transitioning hair in under 10 mins, like nothing else - no heat, just used while in the shower. If I used a DC or co-wash that ended up leaving my hair no soft & moisturized, I would slather this on and amazing... slip, moisture & smooth hair! Haven't tried it on my natural hair yet, but can't wait! :lick:

ETA: The $29.99 retail is on Overstock, Amazon has for $34. Need to go back to Marshalls - today

Yes - L'anza - love those two. I want to try the mask.

MissDarcei cosigning on the Live Clean exotic nectar hair products. I saw a Youtube review by Splinta24 and decided to give this a try. I couldn't believe you could buy such quality ingredients (the exotic nectar line is made with argan oil, organic botanicals and only uses enviro friendly ingredients) at such a low price point..about $5 per item at Walmart. I used the conditioner, spray leave-in and treatment mask on my daughter's hair this weekend and the results were outstanding. Her hair which is prone to frizz and typically low sheen came out very soft, smooth and shiny. Its now 5 days since I washed her hair, still no frizz and the shine is amazing. I am really impressed by this line, I'm off to Walmart to stock up.

ETA - I also picked up the non petroleum jelly (100% natural ingredients) from their baby care line. I've been using to seal the ends and lay down our edges. This too works wonderfully.

Recently I've been LOVING Design Essentials and Rolland UNA hair products. Some things I'm currently using by them are:

Rolland UNA Dual Phase Treatment - it's a spray leave in you shake up; makes the hair very soft and easy to detangle (also has some heat protecting properties so I mostly use it before blowdrying)

Rolland UNA Compensating Shampoo for Hair loss - I use this with every wash it stops shedding INSTANTLY and smells like peppermint so it tingles on your scalp

Design Essentials Moisture Retention Shampoo - LOVEE this although it contains sulfates this by far is one of the best shampoos I have ever used it smells like pineapple candy and leaves my hair clean, but also very soft and almost conditioned after rinsing

Design Essentials Herbal Complex 4 - This is a traditional "grease" petrolateum and all but it also has a lot of other good oils and herbs to soothe the scalp I use this occasionally if my scalp feels dry

Other mentions: Alter Ego Lux Shine Spray, Elasta QP Glaze Plus Conditioning Gel (Excellent for ponytails), Elasta QP Glaze Plus Silkening Polisher Spray (I use this as a heat protectant it's similar to the Fantasia one in the pink bottle and comes in both spray and serum form but is much lighter), Lacio Lacio Leave in Conditioner Brazilian Keratin formula

I really like this ayurvedic amla/shikakai oil from an Indian salon I used to go to in Austin. It may be the same as other amla oils, idk, but the quality is really nice and it smells good. And, I think it's pretty much cured the itchy scalp and dandruff I'd been suffering with until I remembered I had it in the cupboard.

If you don't live in Austin it's also online: http://www.ancientayurvedic.com/products.html

Austin, TX? If so what is the name of the salon

Aveda universal styling cream
Millcreek conditioners
Rusk calm conditioner

sent from Droid incredible II

I LOVE Aveda's Universal styling cream! Leaves my hair super soft. Actually I love Aveda's entire Brillante line..it's for thick hair. I used to attend Aveda Cosmetology school..We got a kit of all the Aveda products..let me tell you I used all of the Universal styling cream up on my own head and had to keep constantly buying more to use for my clients...lol

I love this thread. Definitely see some products I'd like to try in here.

I never hear anybody talk about the Black and Sassy line. The setting cream is the only thing I use on twists. Doesn't show up white, doesn't dry my hair out and never flakes or itches.

I love the coconut shampoo and conditioner & green apple condish! The coconut shampoo smells heavenly and is so gentle on my hair..and the coconut conditioner is very moisturizing. The green apple condish is very moisturizing and I love the smell..sometimes I leave it in when I do wash & go's..and i just like to leave it in because of the smell..

Little Penguins Organic Honey and Vanilla Bean smoothie.
Oyin Honey Hemp Conditioner
Infusium 23 leave-in (original formula). I try to stay "all natural", but this stuff has always been good on my hair!

elast_150_newbtl_2.jpg

Philip Kingsley - Elasticizer (purpose made pre-poo treatment)

I used this stuff when i first joined LHCF but i didn't hear about from here, i remember watching QVC and thought i'd give it a try. I loved it so much i bought 2 salon sizes and used them both up. I'm going to re-visit this (when i use up some of the stuff i have already)

Lots of dominican stuff:

boe cerocaida (great DC if you ever see this, buy it)
doctor cabello
BPT Aloe
lady fior olive oil leave in

Elasta QP Soy Oyl conditioner. It does have mineral oil which I try to stay away from but when I'm in a tight I will use it. This stuff makes my hair so soft and silky and completely tangle free. Plus it's super cheap and easy to find. This 32oz tub was only about $8. :yep:

P.S. OP, great thread, by the way!

I love this! I buy two at a time. I think this gives my hair the best shine.

Speaking of that Curls paste, the entire Curls line doesn't get much love. Aside from CurlyNikki who pushed me to try it, I don't ever see anyone mention it.
I  their Curls soufflé most for twistouts and wash n gos

CSnew.jpg

But I also love their curlicious curls cleansing cream, coconut sublime conditioner, whipped cream (a bit thicker than the soufflé), and the milkshake. They all smell divine.
Can you tell I really like this line :giggle:
girl i love me some CURLS milkshake and coconut sublime conditioner. i also have the whipped cream but havent used it yet(the formula has changed). i will be using it now since im back to braid outs.
i also have the asian tea conditioner but dont like it as much as the coconut conditioner.

chebaby Yeah, you're the only one I recall mentioning the Curls coconut conditioner but I figured all the U1B1 ladies were exempt :giggle:

I also used to love the AO blue green algae back when I bought more things locally instead of hittin 'pay now' online  I need to get to my local health food store and pick some up.

Thinking of trying some discontinued products by Schwartzkopf, Rusk, Thicker/Fuller Hair, and Sabino. But, I'm TRYING to use up the stash I have! I have a bunch of discontinued products, and some that are still on the market but whose labels and ingredients have changed.
