RELAXED 4B..........WHERE R U????

relaxed 4a/b here...

The next couple of months I'll be keeping my hair braided up under a wig until I decide when I'm going to relax again...

Relaxed 3c, 4a, 4b Checking in - LOL. Thinking about a weave for the winter. Never had one before so I'm kinda chicken. . . .

I am here. :hiya: I've been feeling a bit in the dumps about my hair lately, so I don't post much anymore. :( I'm getting a weave put in for Christmas though, so I am excited about that.

How are u fellow 4bs holding up for the winter months?

We really dont have a Winter in Arizona but i am keeping my moisture & Sealing game up.

This past week was BRUTAL to my hair! I live in NYC and it was very cold...windy....horrible...

I noticed my hair was dry and snapping...

I did a mild protein treatment with Aphogee's 2 min reconstructor....hope that helps.

4b relaxed here and I need help!!! I have fine hair and now its shedding all over the place. I usually shed more during the fall/winter and on top of that I just had a baby 3 months ago. I hate to comb my hair or even run my fingers through it :nono:.
I need a hair mentor seriously! You ladies have some beautiful, healthy heads of hair and I'm trying to get where you are. I was on the right track, but I'm afraid that by the spring I'll have my work cut out for me. :ohwell:

I'm 4B and relaxed...still trying to figure out what to do with my hair this winter. The bunning/ponytails are ruining my edges. Suggestions?

Me! I just got a fresh relaxer yesterday and I'm in heaven!

Winter has been a beast so far...I just never let any of my hair be out when I'm outside. I'm also big on silk scarves as protection from the hat.

Yea the winter here in SC is getting pretty lethal for my hair as well....I want a good half wig that's natural looking, I have been scoping out some online, my only problem now is how will the portion of hair I leave out to blend with the wig will be holding up =/

Nice to see all of you lovely relaxed ladies!

Hey Toy! I keep my exact same hair routine. I always wash/cowash at night, so I'm indoors and warm.

How tight are you pulling your hair in order to do your buns and ponytails? Since I always airdry with a silk scarf, I just slick my wet hair down with a part in it so it's flat the next morning and perfect for bunning. I don't brush my edges, I just put carrot oil on them and bun.

checkin in! For the winter I'm not using any glycerin products, and bun everyday with bobby pins. Waiting for my first order of nice hairsticks to arrive. (Yep, I was using chopsticks from the chinese before, and they work great)

Over here!!

I'm so excited to see all these 4b ladies who are relaxed. My hair has no real uniform pattern it's very zig zag shaped and random.

I've had some setbacks this year because I fell back into some old unhealthy hair practices (and lazyness), but having to get cut from almost wl back to barely APL has more than set me straight.

This is for you ladies :urock:

Having 4b texture:

My hair Love:
1. Moisture Moisture Moisture
2. Protective Styles
3. Heat once a week (max)
4. Motions Moisture Plus Conditioner
5. Sealing ends with motions creme hairdress for coarse hair

My hair hate:
1. Protein
2. Permanent hair color
3. Consistent heat (curling irons, flat irons)

My hair love bunning... I part hair down the middle and comb sides down then bun hair .... Staple style...

Checking in! I need to update my pics. I have been moisturizing with Ojon revitalizing mist and sealing with coconut oil at night. In the mornings I use a little FF glossing cream on the ends. I plan to do this all winter.
