Why the Tangle Teezer hate?

I don't hate the tangle teezer, I loved it as a detangling tool and wish that I could use it. But with the shreaded, feathered hair it left behind we just kinda fell out and agreed to disagree, lol.

This video explains exactly what I think the Tangle Teaser did to my daughter's hair. She has breakage at her crown because it it, so we no longer use it.

I use it for smoothing mostly. I still love it. It's like a brush and a comb in one.

I wouldn't call it hate, just what we already know....that not everything works for everyone.

I haven't and don't plan to use it long enough to find out if it works for me or not.

I was worried because I thought it was splitting my end, but they got really dry. But, and subtracting something from my routine I found out it was the coconut oil that was drying my hair out.

The TT has been the best thing to happen to me. I have course, thick 3c/4a hair that dreads easily. The TT has been the only thing that keeps my hair from turning into locs.

I'm starting to think that the TT works better on people who have difficult to detangle hair.
