This is a question for those who are relaxed. What styling utensils do you use and when do you use them? What kind of comb, brush, blow dryer, flat iron, hair rollers, or any tools that you use. Feel free to post pics. :)

Combs- I have mason pearsons and two wide toothed combs I got from walmart

Brush- Denman and one of those soft brushes men use to brush their waves  Works well when trying to smooth my hair, the denman is for blow outs and detangling.

Blowdryer- Rusk Hyper Ionic. Love this dryer and I got a great deal on it. Plan on adding another one, either the Solano or a FHI in the near future.

Flat Iron- I have a couple really. I recommend the solia or the FHI platform for people looking for a quality iron to get them started. The FHI also sells platforms in all sizes which is great. I plan on getting the really skinny one for my roots.

Hair Rollers- I have magnetic rollers which aren't any particular brand name. I also have some Caruso steam rollers that I don't really use at all and a Babyliss hot roller setter. The babyliss sets a firm curl and they are easy to use. Again, I found the set on sale at Sallys so I scooped it up.

Other tools- FHI T-REX clips....please get some of these. Awesome clips. Can't rave about them enough. Makes styling much easier.

Large afro pick comb- detangling

Conair Shower wide tooth shower comb - detangle

Hot Tools table top dryer - roller sets, deep condition

Fine tooth comb - rollerset

Hair Clips -to keep the hair out of the way

Sedu Flat iron - I don't know how to use it, I have someone use it on me occasionally

I don't use a blow dryer but I might buy one just to have

Caruso Steam rollers - I'll use these to touch up my wet sets

Applicator brush - to apply conditioner and oil for hot oil treatments

Plastic caps or grocery bags - cover my hair for treatments

Goody hair bands - ponytails

Bobby pins

Goody soft bristle brush - on my edges and when I wrap

Magnetic rollers and double prong slide in clips for my wet sets

End papers for the carusos

That's about it, I wouldn't know the first thing about using a curling iron or any other heat appliances. I'm just learning how to style my hair.

Large toothed combs - Daily detangling

Smaller tooth comb - At night to wrap my hair around my head

Rat tail comb - Very rarely, only when I need to mark a perfect part and I don't do that very often.

Boar bristle brush - Daily. To wrap my hair and style it the way I want.

Perm rods and end papers - On occasion I'll do a tiny curl out that lasts me 2 to 3 days

Curling iron - I use maybe once or twice a month (with a good heat protectant of course)

Ceramic flat iron - I haven't used this in months.
