hair itchies!!

quick question about once a month i get hair itchies its not everyday of the month but about the 2week in my scalp itches like crazy and it only last a couple of days then its gon does that mean it my hair growing or dry scalp the only other time my hair will itch like this is wen i am using mtg and my hair will itch for an entire week then stop does anyone else notice this?

How often do you wash your hair? My scalp only itches like this when I wait too long to wash.

i get the itchies sometimes - but i attribute it to the fact that i have to put conditioner directly on my roots to detangle my transitioning hair. Most instructions tell you to only put conditioner on the length....

It could be hormonal - do the itchies happen around the same point of time during your cycle? Around ovulation, my back itches like MAD - took me SO long to figure out that it was something hormonal.
