Does 4a or 4B require more processing time

I have finally realized that I am 4b with 4a at the nape of my head. The 4a experienced some breakage when wearing a bun at my nape. I have since stopped bunning back there ( Wig challenge). I was wondering, for those with the both textures, if they noticed different relaxer processing times for the two areas? Does 4a or 4B straighten faster with a relaxer?

I appreciate your sharing.

Ohhhhh, I didn't consider that and maybe you are on to something there!

Anyone else? what has been your experience relaxing those two different textures?

I always thought my nape was a different hair type. It's possible it is just a different texture. Most of my hair is 4b and coarse. Since I started relaxing the nape just once each year, it has taken off. Before it would always break off, staying the same length. I use the same processing time for the rest of my hair, just 10 minutes total for texlaxing.
