I was in Walmart today and saw a shelf full of ceXpress products -- all priced at about $10.

Here's what it looks like:

They have a "Shea" butter product that didn't have any Shea in it at all. I got mad and snapped the above pic! I googled it and found a pretty site, which outlined the product "collection' but failed to list the ingredients that I could see. site: http://cexpressproducts.com/index.php

I saw petroleum and mineral oil in the top five ingredients for more than one of these products on the shelf. I mean, get down how you get down...but for $10 each...I need some Shea Butter in it.

I found some weird articles, that sort of say that this is a Carol's Daughter product. What do yall know about this line, guys? Are you as mad as I am?

Carol's Daughter Prevails in Trademark Infringement Case
15 year old brand files suit against Carol's Express and CVS

NEW YORK, Nov. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Carol's Daughter, LLC, the widely popular
beauty personal care line created by Lisa Price, commenced legal proceedings
against Carol's Express, distributed at CVS stores, for trademark
infringement. After a hearing at the federal court in downtown Manhattan, the
Court issued an order requiring Carol's Express and CVS to stop selling and to
direct their stores and distributors to pull Carol's Express products off the
shelves.

"Carol's Express is trying to capitalize on the name, trademarks and brand
that is Carol's Daughter," says Lori Haram, General Manager of Carol's
Daughter. "While imitation is said to be the highest form of flattery, in
this case, it is not."

The complaint filed by Carol's Daughter alleged that Carol's Express
deliberately marketed inferior products under a "Carol's Express" name and
logo, which were confusingly similar to Carol's Daughter's federally
registered name and trademark. Carol's Daughter also alleged that the Carol's
Express products had already confused customers and could cause a substantial
number of customers to be further confused or mistaken into wrongly believing
that the products found in CVS were associated with Carol's Daughter.

Lisa Price, founder of Carol's Daughter, commented, "We are relieved and take
any threat to the integrity of our brand very seriously. The experience I
provide my customers is built on years of authenticity, and can never be
replicated."

It's the Carol's Daughter knock-off, I've never tried it but $10 for a product with mineral oil and petroleum isn't worth it. :perplexed

I bought this kit from them that was suppose to "naturally" loosen up curls. Come to my suprise it's just a texturizer. I threw that s hat in the trash. A waste of my money! I'm so glad I didn't put it on my head. But I did keep the hair oil and smoothe, but all of that was things I could have made myself...

This just flat-out makes me MADDDDDDDDDDD :wallbash::wallbash::wallbash:l
It would be a shame to see all of Lisa Price's (Carol's Daughter) hard work and creativity in getting her products branded and known to the general public be stolen by these folks like a thief in the night..............
 Umma tell errrbody I know that this product is a FAKE.

It seems like the name of their R & D (research & development) division is really Rip-Off and Duplicate!!

thats a shame. i know many people on here dont like carols daughter products but i do, i just think they are exspensive. i dont think CD has petroleum or mineral oil in most of her products and they do work for some. i think carols exspress is crazy to think they can compete with a brand like carols daughter when oprah helped put lisa price on the map. AND you use mineral oil, c'mon now.
