Best Leave-In Conditioner?

for a cheapie, my favorite would have to be razac leave in. i love the way it detangles my hair and it lasts along time.

the best i've used so far would have to be its a 10 + keratin leave in. it literally melts the tangles away and is better than any other leave in ive tried. its so expesnsive but very worth it:yep:

Kinky Curly Knot Today -detangler and leave in

Ouidad Moisture Lock- leave in

Silk Dreams Wheat Germ Butter conditioner- leave in and rinse out

My two favourites are Keracare leave in conditioner which is silicone free and has a low ph, so great for my coarse tangly hair. The second is Its a 10 leave in conditioner, this gives more slip and is in a spray bottle.

darcys botanicals leave-in ......has slip and no cones. this is my staple, i use it to detangle and its goes under my gel before i twist or braid my my hair for styling.

darcys botanicals lemongrass transitioning cream

hydroquench systems greaseless moisture (i can't remember if it has cones but has slip)

these are moisturizing but no slip: komaza care coconut curl lotion and shea butter lotion

I really like kinky curly...
Paul Mitchell the conditioner is a good leave in
Camille rose makes a good leave in to

Trader Joe's Tingle Treat Conditioner is the best detangler I've ever used.

It is a rinse-out conditioner but you could always dilute it with deionized water and spray it on. No matter how much I've neglected my hair or gone without detangling it, this stuff works to get my 4a natural kinks, coils and curls corrected!

My bff and I refer to it as "That Get Right!"

I was at Whole Foods the other day looking for a leave-in to buy. My old leave in (EO French Lavender Everyday Leave-In Formula) stopped working for my hair, so I had to get a new one. I was in the store for an hour trying to decide what to get. After looking at reviews from my phone I decided to get "Beautiful Curls Curl Activating Shea Butter Leave in Conditioner for Curly to Kinky Hair". I really like this leave in. I was afraid that it would be too thick for my hair, but once you apply the leave in, it thins out. It absorbed easily into my hair and I had no problems detangling. I recommend both leave-ins. Even though the EO leave in stopped working for me, I still think it's a great product. My hair is just temperamental, and starts to hate products that I use too often. The EO leave-in was moisturizing and added weight to my hair. You can find EO products at Whole Foods too.

Biotera Leave-In from Sally's is great for taming frizzy curls---it's liquid.

I also love Lanza leave in conditioner, it's a little creamy, smells great, and just a little works as a great detangler.

Thanks for this. I never really thought about which leave-ins have slip or not. I am now realizing how important that is for my hair.

I just tried "Yes to Carrots" leave in last night and it's GREAT!! The cost is reasonable, it can be found just about anywhere and like I said, it works great!!

Kinky curly knot today

Trader Joes Nourish Spa conditioner. This is actually a rinse out conditioner, but it has worked great as a detangler during my transition.

My two favs: Paul Mitchell the Conditioner
Kinky Curly Knot Today

Others: Aussie Moist
Tresemme Moisture Rich

I like rinse outs and deep conditioners as leave-ins. Jessicurl Too Shea, Trader Joe's Tea Tree Tingle, and Curl Junkie Curl Rehab have great slip for me.

My faves:

  • KBB Sweet Ambrosia (summer/spring)
  • Koils By Nature Shealoe Leave-In (fall/winter; thicker)

ETA: I detangle my hair after I let my DC sit for several hours to overnight though. My hair is fully detangled when I'm at the step of applying leave-in condish

Komaza Shea Lotion is so sweet to my hair. It's thick enough to lay it down, thin enough for pliability, yes.
