i think it was Megara from Hercules that had the best. i had a friend in elementary and high school that had super long, cnapp hair, and her roller-curled ponytail looked just like Megara's. everyone loved to touch it and ooh and aah over it. ♥

I love Tianna's hair

Hoooowwwever..... this is not a disney character but my favourite animated person's hair was Sailor Moon I think it was ankle length or something lol.

LOL, yes...Sailor Moon's hair was indeed the business.
It still makes me sick to see it:

Sailor Mars also had some gorgeous hair. I used to give Mercury that side-eye though...where was her hair? :lachen:

But if we're talking about Anime characters, I think that Chi from Chobits and Himawari from xxxHolic had the best hair of all time. OF ALL TIME.

Exhibit A:

Exhibit B:

Dang. It's a tie.
I like Princess Jasmine's for the length, but I like Princess Tiana's for the variety of styles.

I'm going to have to say Jasmine. I used to dream about having hair like hers. And I plan on having it one day too! :sekret:

Also...I was thinking....how come all the evil people had little to no hair? :perplexed

Ursula had very little hair.

Same with Maleficent.

And the Evil Queen.
QueenSnowWhite.jpg

And Hades. Hercules and Zeus both had mad hair.

And The Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland.
queen-of-hearts-7.jpg

And Cruella's hair was looking busted.
cruella-de-vil-b-web.jpg

Even Scar had a skinny little mane, compared to Simba's and Mufasa's.
....what were they trying to say? :angry2:

I choose Ariel, because with my sewing/embroidery machine, I was able to make her look like a black girl with beautiful dark hair. I just can’t get the design out as large as I’d like it, but believe me … the little mermaid looks adorable as a black girl :giggle:

Pocahontas! Those scenes when she's on top of the mountain and the wind is blowing her hair all around her face are straight up hair porn!

I haven't seen The princess and the frog yet so i can't vote about princess Tiana.

I remember Rosie Perez was the voice in an animated film character with two brothers or something who had found treasures. She had really long hair. Any guesses out there?

India

Awwwwe!:love2: How adorable! Its so wonderful our little girls have a princess they can admire that looks like them:love3:

It's about time isn't it??
We were dead last in getting out princess too.

My dad is originally from the Caribbean and I noticed that the little mermaid is set in the carribean and sebastian was like you know jamaican. Was anyone else mad that Ariel was some irish looking chick? :lachen:
She should have been black! :lachen:

j/k
anyway.....

Btw Mulan's hair wasn't remarkable right? She is not repping for that east asian thick shiny hair.....

Chel from The Road to El Dorado...her character also had a banging body.

@sharifeh, yeahh we were dead last. *side-eye at Disney*
And I didn't know The Little Mermaid was set in the Caribbean. I thought it was somewhere in Europe, because everyone else was white. Sebastian was the only one with some kind of accent. Look, you learn something new everyday.

Mulan was representing before...she had lots of hair, until she chopped it off and joined the army. Like a FOOL!

Oh well, I just always assumed the caribbean thing because of sebastian :lachen:

oh ok, I've only watched that movie once....
LOL @ BC!!!!

What about the Muses from Hercules? I was so excited when I first saw them.

Also Tzipporah from Prince of Egypt.

As for my favorite princess it would have to be Jasmine but she was an original so even with Tiana being made of awesome it'll be hard for anyone to take her place. I wished they showed more of Tiana's curly hairstyle looks that I see of her in the concept art though.

I found it funny how Pocahontas never wore any of the trademark "Pokahontas braids" though.

And Mulan knows how to BC in style. How many people can say they cut their hair off with a sword?

I haven't seen most of these but I work for a party planner and dress up as Tiana and Jasmine for the princess parties all the time.
Its a fun gig. I loved Ariel, not so much the hair, but that mermaid was the boss! I just Loved her when I was a kid.
But my Dream Cartoon hair would have to be Big Pink Jem hair from Jem and the holograms or her friend with the huge lilac fro, now that was some hair.
All 80's all time.

Princess Jasmine dont have any competitors I see :yep:

I remember having this same discussion in the school yard, when I was 6th grade: It was so funny because even the boys where adding their 2 cents!

I've always Loved Sleeping Beauty's Hair! It was soo thick and full with the bangs...:yep::yep:

LOL, they would always be the ones with the most to say too. Just shouting down everybody.

I loved the one with the Diana Ross hair the most...they would be all dancing and singing and I would just watch her hair swing around. Made me so jealous...especially after my hair started looking like the one on the far right.

Princess Jasmine, Pocahontas, and Esmeralda:grin:

If you notice all of their hair is thick, black, & long:drunk: I LOVE black hair, im looking for a black hair dye now..maybe indigo/henna?? Also because their hair is long.

Im probably obligated to pick Princess Tiana because she is black and the first black Disney princess..but nope:lachen: Her hair is not impressive to me, i feel Disney should have put a little more effort into her hair..i mean a bun? Really just a bun?? Its a nice protection style but.. No coily thick curls down her back? No BIG afro to her shoulders?? Just a bun with a freaken tiara:bat:

I have to go with Pocahontas but Jasmine did have some bangin hair too..this takes me back to my childhood..I love it! Tiana's hair is very pretty too but I have not seen the movie yet

I think they should have went with early designs of Princess Tiana's hair tbh, in the movie it was cute but it could have been better. My fave was Princess Jasmine. I love her hair it was so thick and luscious. As a child I thought I'd look like that when I was 16 (body and hair:lachen:) Anyway her hair is perfection. I guess princess ariel too but I never liked her so I won't vote for her.
jasmine14.jpg

Not Disney
Chel from Road To El Dorado had such pretty straight hair
Chel135TheRoadtoElDorado.jpg

as cute as Sailor Moon's hair was and how awesome the length was half the people on that show had better hair. (Sailor Venus, Mars, Neptune and Cosmos had great hair.)

And the the best, hands down was Luna's human version.
