What are you doing with your hair?

I have to say this might be a fun topic. We can just talk about what we're doing to our hair today or did last night. That way it's not about a problem or concern but if you're like me you just love to talk about those regular hair days.

Last night, I moisturized my hair and then put it in an ouchless band and kinda tucked it under (I have collarbone length hair, 10" at last count), and put a satin scarf over that. This morning I woke up and shook it out (no combing) and it was SOOO cute! I have a flip kinda non-flip going on. It's adorable and I didn't have to use any heat.

So what did you do? Or what are you currently doing to your hair right now?

Nothing special. I normally keep my hair protected with my phony ponies but decided to give my hair a break. I did 2 Bantu Knots last night and this morning I finger combed it and put it up into a bun. I plan on keeping it like this for the next 2 days or maybe longer...it depends :) .

Last night, I bagged with Ojun Restorative Treatment. This morning I applied Lustrasilk's Shea Butter Cholestrol Conditioner and rebagged for the entire day. Tonight, I will con wash with Dove Intense Moisturizing Conditioner and Ojun Thickening Conditioner followed by Praital's Silk Worm Moisturizing Creme for detangling. Then, I will use Infusium 23 leave-in. Next, saturate my head with Hollywood's Carrot Oil. Last, air dry. I'm using this treatment because my hair has been verrrrry dry lately. :ohwell:

Yesterday i DC-ed with V05 Moisture soak mixed with Humectress, washed my hair with botanicals shampoo and put in and rinsed some more humectress. let it dry and put some ghana braids in a nice protective style:D

Not a dang thing, I spritz my hair with BT and water and plan to take out my twists next week and get some Nubian twists.

Last night I lubed the length of my pony with some Clairol Vitapointe, put it into two braids, and rolled the ends. I'm wearing a braidout pony this today. :)

Last night I put my hair in two pony tails and only co washed the pony tails only. My ends have been feeling dry and I didnt feel like wetting my whole head. In the morining I rolled the hair on satin rollers for a soft curl and pinned my hair up with my octupus clip after taking out the rollers.

yesterday I sprayed my sew-in with water and braid spray, then I put a lil' gel on my edges and put my scarf on...this morning I took my scarf off and went about my business...

being indecisive.

I put a black rinse on last night, and have NO idea what I'm going to do with it today... maybe Caruso...

I have a confession. On MOnday I did my own twists. :lachen: At first it was alright they were just alittle long, so I twisted down and then I cut them. But I didn't have the right kind of hair, so the ends are like all fraying and coming out and the twists are... I don't know where to start. It still looks cute b/c i've just been pulling it back in a bun. My friend even asked if it was my hair. But for me it looks pretty crazy. But I'm really trying to get through this hide your hair challenge w/out having to spend 100 some dollars on getting my hair done. So I'm gonna have to redo them on Fri/Sat with the proper equipment. I don't have pictures b/c I'm too embarassed. So that's what I've been doing with my hair.

Last night I moisturized with USC & sealed with a tad of Aveda serum. Cross wrap & cover w/satin scraf. This morning applied a tad of USC only to ends & brushed with paddle brush. Thats it.....

Well last night I deep conditioned my hair with At one reconstructor and Motion CPR(Great combo) and co washed with VO5 Moisture Milks Bluberries and Cream, air dried my hair and put my pony in a baggy. I'm just wearing protective styles until i reach my goal:grin: My hair is in the best condition that it has ever been in!

I did a cassia treatment Sunday, so my hair is pretty BIG today, which I like. It feels good, too. I cannot stop touching it. I have not had to moisturize since Sunday, which means my moisture balance is on point. :D

Anyway, last night I slept in my Satin Foam rollers and this morning after removing them, I finger combed and was done. I am 3 weeks post right and this is the time when i start feeling my NG kick in. My hair is easiest to deal with when I am 3-5 weeks post. I love this time.

I got my henna a couple of weeks ago, so I was thinking about trying it out for the first time tonight. Tonight is my mid week wash/DC night, so I may give it a shot. Never henna'ed before, so I'm a little nervous. :perplexed After that, I'll roller set.

I finally had the opportunity to use my new Salon dryer, and I have to say I love it!
I also shampooed my hair in about 6 or 7 platts and waited until it was about 30-50% dry and then took them out one at a time removing any shed hair and then I added my conditioner b4 moving on to the next platt. It made pooing 3 months post hair a breeze and saturating my hair with the conditioner was much easier too. Now I'm about to set my hair on grey magnetic rollers.

I am getting ready to do a deep conditioning pre-poo w/Lustrasilk Shea Butter Cholesterol, I'll prolly sit under the dryer 20 minutes. Then I'll wash my hair with my new Organix Coconut Milk shampoo and conditioner set, I can't wait. Then I'll airdry w/my trusty Rusk Smoother and BB Oil Moisturizer and seal my ends w/grease. I'll style my hair in braidout too.

Last night I put some Stimulate! on my temples and massaged them. Then I added a little End All to my length and put on a bonnet. Today, I'm rocking 3 day old pincurls in a ponytail. I LOVE it. Not sure what I'm going to do tonight...maybe sleep in a baggied bun and bun tomorrow.

Last night I co-wash my hair with Suave Milk and Honey with Hollywood Carrot oil, followed by NTM hair mask on the ends for five minutes. I combed my hair into a ponytail with NTM Silk Touch Leave in sealing the ends with castor oil. Since I am 8 weeks post I applied Beyond the Zone Stiff head to my hairline to smooth out the front. This morning I woke up to soft, shiny hair with really soft new growth which I added a little more castor oil to the ends and wore a ponytail under a fake bun for my off site meeting with a customer. My new growth is laying so flat I am thinking about stretching a little longer and 8 weeks is usually my limit. I have hardly any breakage at this point.

Well since it was chilly out this morning when I left to take my son to his medical appointment I put on a wool blend turtleneck sweater, soooo Wore my hair up in a clip so it wouldn't dry out from rubbing against my sweater.

I havent worn braidouts in awhile, after skimming through the "grow your hair long with braidouts" thread, I decided to braid my hair up on a whim. I made 4 cornrows straight back, then I rolled the ends with perm rods, after that I spritzed each braid with water then I covered them up with a baggie and a satin bonnet. I hope it comes out good tomorrow! :p

I just finished washing and deep conditioning my hair. Well I've finally found a Phyto Organics product I'm not thrilled with. The Inergy shampoo left my hair feeling rough, tangled and dry. It smells great but I lost soooo much hair trying to detangle it in the shower.

After an hour of deep conditioning with Humectin with added honey, papaya oil and virgin coconut oil my hair feels better. I had two huge handfuls of shed hair after I finished untangling it all.:(

My hair is nice and protected under my instant weave. I'm currently sporting a straight-bra strap lengthed one. I don't see the point in all the prep and prime just to get my own hair straight when I can accomplish this in under 2min. with a fall :look:

I'm under the dryer deep conditioning trying to decide if I wanna rollerset my hair or just call it a night after I rinse the conditioner out :ohwell:

i am going to do an overnight pre poo with amla oil and some conditioner. then tomorrow wash and roller set. i bought some serum so hopefully i can get that salon shine

I'm sitting with some conditioner and a plastic cap on. Will wash and condition again later on. May do some cornrows in the front with twists in the back tomorrow.
