Vitale Relaxers

I'm in search of a vitale relaxer but so far none of them have a particular strength.. There's no mild, regular or super.

I know Southerngirl uses Vitale regular lye but I can't find it.

The only ones that I can find is the mo body, life and body and concorde.

There's sensitive but that's the no lye and I don't want that one.

The life and body comes in normal/regular, it's lye.

This is their website: http://www.vitaleproducts.com/sub1.htm

Retail store locator: http://www.vitaleproducts.com/RetailStore.htm - Just did a search and this doesn't seem to work. Maybe you'll have better luck than I did.

Products: http://www.vitaleproducts.com/sub1.htm

Just noticed they had a model search on their website: http://www.vitaleproducts.com/index.htm

vitale lye relaxer, pros and cons?

Thanks so much Bailey. I read the pro and cons thread then I started to look on the AFAM website. The Life and Body seems to be the mildest one of them all. I might eventually try that one.

I want to switch from no lye to lye and I'm in search of a really good one. Everything I want isn't sold to common people like me (Elucence and Design Essentials).

Bailey which Vitale relaxer do you use?

Jasmin, I have used Vitale Regular and I have no problem finding it in Chicago. Most of the Asian Beauty Suppy Stores sell it.

Vitale life and body regular. I texturize my hair though and it worked out pretty well. It leave the hair very smooth. I just switched from S-curl texturizer, lye.

Thank you Bailey for responding so quickly. I think I'm going to try the Life and Body. I've always liked Vitale but I just never thought about purchasing it since I self relax now.

Hi Jas,

I think they are replacing what I use for the Mo Body stuff. I'm worried, because if they do, I will have to find another relaxer. I don't like the Mo Body formula at all. I still get lucky finding the original ones in BSSs here (not Sally, but the Asian ones). When I find them, I stock up.

You'll want to find the Vitale Relaxer in the white jar. It will say Regular (which is what I use) or Super.

Good luck!

Is it the life and body one or a totally different one? I found the life and body, concorde and of course the mo body. There is another one out but I can't remember the name.

Gn1, I use the Mo'body super relaxer for my course, thick hair and it does wonders in straightening my new growth and giving me lots of bounce and body, I love it!! And I only leave it on for 10 minutes, just enough to straighten my roots and leave some texture in it.
